50cm Obitsu boy pants?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have an easy pattern (or even just ideas on how to) for 50cm boy pants?  Just simple ones, I don't need pockets and have to hand-sew.  I know I can buy a pair from Parabox, but they don't have what I need (red ones), so that's right out.

You might be able to find tutorials for drafting simple patterns for any doll size via measurements and math. I don't have one handy but I know saphar_bjd on Instagram(which is down right now otherwise I'd have a link) did a tutorial for a simple shirt based on basic shapes and taking various measurements of a doll. Presumably there is something somewhere like that for pants, and I seem to recall some on DeviantArt of all places, but unfortunately I don't have any links readily available.

Got less time to do doll stuff and more time to procrastinate. I'll try to be active here more discussion-wise but no pics or news for a while, unfortunately. Being busy sucks.

Currently watching BNHA, on season 4 and obsessed! (being in a fandom late makes dodging spoilers an issue tho :()
More into Nendoroids than BJDs rn, but I'm waiting for a grail of mine and also hoping to get back into that stuff soon!

Unfortunately, that's my problem. :(  I found a tutorial on drafting patterns, but it requires SO much math, and I am downright rubbish with anything more than 2+2. lol.  Maybe the ones you named will be a bit easier to understand, though, so I'll still check them out. Thanks!

You could try patterns sized for MDD or similar 1/4 dolls, and then add extra length to the legs. My 50cm girls can wear MDD bottoms fairly well, and I think the only difference between the male and female bodies is the chest piece.
