Azone Qz body

Recommended Posts

Kemonomimicry

I received one of these bodies recently (C chest), and am not entirely enthusiastic about it.

Hip articulation is extremely limited in some directions: the legs can move forwards for sitting poses and backwards a bit for walking poses, but the body can't do a split as left-right movement is highly limited. Basically, the only reason the legs can move sideways a little is for poses where one leg somewhat crosses the other. The feet are smaller than the hands. The knees are single-jointed so seiza is impossible, but some other alternate sitting positions are possible because the knees are pegged into the thighs and lower legs and thus can rotate in them. The torso joint looks like it allows more movement, but really it just can minimally wiggle around.

Arm articulation is good.

So basically a body that looks good and mature with little clothing on, but that mostly has articulation on par with a late 1990s 'action' doll (except for the arms).

I am waiting for my Kokone to reach me. I don't have any of the azone 1/6.. or any for that matter.
How does it compare to the Pure Neemos? How easy or annoying is it to manage the body? Does the clothes for Pure Neemo fit?

That's a shame that the posing is limited, especially since the Feel/Emotion bodies were well articulated 😔 Have you found it easy to dress, and are shoes a struggle due to the small feet? I'm still going to get one myself eventually, but I'll need a head to go on it.

I can't answer any questions about Pure Neemo clothing yet, as I don't own any yet (I picked up the body because HobbySearch had it at a discount). However, I have some older Takara/Sega dolls on the way, and will test whether their clothing fits onto this body when I upgrade them to Obitsu 24/26 bodies. I expect problems with panties and the like, because the Qz body really has a big ass and thighs. I've seen on Azone's site that they specifically indicate whether clothing can fit the Qz bodies, so probably not all clothing fits.

One thing the body has going for it is that all of the joints are very stiff, so it holds poses well.

Followup:

Dressing a Qz body is a pain. The chest on even the small-chested ones is so wide most Azone clothing not specified for a L-chest won't fit. The hips are too wide for most panties included with Azone and other 1/6 size dolls, even when they're made from very stretchy material.

I ended up picking up the Azone Store Limited release "PNS shrine maiden clothes set (Sakano Shimokami Shrine ver.)" for the body, because it was indicated on the page that it ought to fit. It does, but I had to re-dress her three times before I managed to get the hakama's obi to stay put and not separate. The top's obi needs to be held in position while you put on the hakama because the chest is just a smudge too wide and the obi separates on its own. The socks are loose because the Qz body feet are smaller than normal Pure Neemo feet, which also means the included zori fit too loosely and continuously fall off (I'll probably stick a small piece of double sided tape on the heels to keep them on). Also, the rather stiff joints are not helpful during dressing up.

Of course she's going commando, because Azone has been very reticent in releasing clothes for this new body and apparently non-sexy underwear is not on the menu...

I'm Triply Grateful now that the OBITSU 24 and 26 has been there to take care of my Covey of Sixth-Saled Hunnies.

I Mean; while i was Considering trying out the Q'z at one time... Between how you Describe it, and how it appears upon close examination,

Well, Nope; a Fruitless Endeavor it would Definitely Be For Sure...
