0bsequi0us Posted August 2, 2022 Hi folks! I'm Al, and I'm a doll collector and customizer. I'm very new to vinyl dolls, but I've been collecting anime style resin dolls like imomodoll and shoushoudoll for over a year now and BJDs in general for over 5 years. I'm not really a huge fan of anime, but I recently fell in love with anime style faceups and making anime eyes for my dolls. Now I like anime style dolls more than the semi-realistic ones I started with! (^ as an example of the kind of faceups/eyes I do, my off-topic Guard Love Vivi) Vinyl dolls seem much easier to mod (from my experience with modding Tinyfox heads) so one of my goals going forward is to get better at modding! Specifically open mouth mods, since I love sculpting cute teeth and mouth parts. I'm also hoping I can get a little more comfortable with stain removal (or stain acceptance), since staining is the most intimidating thing about vinyl dolls for me. For on-topic dolls I only have 1 50cm Obitsu so far (who needs work lol), but I plan on getting an MDD in the future! I have a preference for boy dolls, so I'd put off getting an MDD until I could snag a Kakuso torso (which I just managed to do a few days ago).
