I've ordered from Obitsu a few times in the past (spare Obitsu 50 parts, Akiho, GGR parts) and had it sent to a forwarder.  It was pretty easy, and my US-issued credit card worked fine. 

 

It can be Amazing just how Unpredictable Life Can Be. Just a Couple of Months ago i was Pining after the GGR

as a Direly-Needed Upgrade for my AZONE Happiness Clover Kureha in Super Whitey...

And Here, in Near-Mid-2026, i've Ended-up Remaking her Outright into a Dollfie Dream Sister;

I actually just ordered one of the semi-order GGRs (shipping to a forwarder in Japan), and even though it says it can take up to 3~4 weeks, it looks like she's shipping a day after placing my order!   She was out of stock for a little bit, but you can now successfully add her to your shopping cart.  I'm using Big in Japan for forwarding, as they offer Japan Post DDP (Customs fees paid in advance) options to the USA.

My semi-order GGR arrived today!  The box is just like your typical Azone/Obitsu 50 cardboard box, although it's only 2/3 as thick.  The shipping box was just a tiny bit larger than it, specifically sized to fit these boxes. 

Shipping weight was 1,400g, and I paid 11,300yen (including all fees) for EMS DDP (Trump Tariff pre-paid) forwarding to the USA. 

(It breaks down to 6,600yen for EMS, 3,300yen Trump Tariff, 500yen forwarding fee, xxx yen for Zonos app DDP fee, xxx yen for forwarder's money receiving fee).  

The doll herself was 33,000yen total, with free domestic shipping in Japan.  Total cost after everything was around $280 US.

 

Here's what you get-- doll, typical Obitsu metal base plate, and 2nd pair of GGR hands.  Eye color and bust size were selectable.  No wig or clothes.

 

Here's the new semi-order on the left, and Akiho on the right.  Both are GGRs.  Akiho has the metallic eyes with a bit of depth, while the semi-order girl has non-metallic, flatter (not much depth) eyes.  Naturally, I like Akiho's eyes best.

The GGR semi-order girls have a different face-up than Akiho.  Semi-order has a brighter pink lip color.

GGRs fit AZO2 panties, but bras can be tight due to the underbust (band size) being a bit larger than AZO2s.  I used the AZO2 Sporty Bra & Shorts set for the new GGR girl.  The stretchable AZO2 outfits fit the GGR L-bust.  

Most of my Azone BeShine wigs are for 7~8inch heads, which is what the Iris Collect series use.  But GGRs need the 8~9inch wigs, which the Iris Collect Petit use.  I need to get more of those.  I could also try some of my DD wigs, although they might be a bit long in front.  

I am glad the GGRs use the soft busts.  Azone and normal Obitsu 50s had soft busts in the past, but switched to semi-rigid.  

And the reinforced shoulder sockets are much appreciated, as well as the expanded rotation of the hands and feet.  

GGR hands are also a little bit bigger than the standard Obitsu 50 hands, plus the GGR hands have nicer looking/defined fingernails.  

What's her name going to be?  I don't know yet...

 

Here's Akiho next to DD Aqua.  I like how the GGRs pair well with DDs.  It's like she's a little sister.  

Azone 50s don't match DDs as well as they have smaller eyes and heads.

Unfortunately no, not yet.  The GGR body is still fairly new.  1st they offered Akiho, as a complete doll.  Then after a bit they offered individual parts and the body separately.  Now they're offering the semi-order-- body + head.  There seems to be enough demand that things go out of stock from time to time.  

I don't expect a super whitey for a while.  If they did, they might release a complete doll with outfit first.  But they could also go the route of a tan body too.  We shall see.
