Full body blushing for DD question

Recommended Posts

Zai

Hello!

I’d love to know if anyone is willing to share any good tips and resources on fully blushing a DD body. Most of the tutorials I find are for resins and I’m unsure if the skill crosses over? She’s also tan but I doubt that factors in much?

As a side note, the lovely lady I wish to blush has a silicone chest mode which I’m assuming needs to be airbrushed instead? I have an airbrush and all the equipment needed to use it but have only used it on gunpla painting forever ago for very basic things so I’m not very confident with it at all, lol. So I’d prefer to use pastels where I can!

Thanks in advance in you have any tricks! Time to stock up on MSC. 😆

Vinyl friends: Stoli (DD Y’shtola), Raili, Yuzuha and Minami-senpai (Azone PureNeemo).
Future friends: DD Alisaie, TinyFox Huifre, DD Luka (hopefully a reboot?), and a DD Icon (wishful thinking, lol).

Honestly, you should be able to go along with the tutorials for resin and have no problem there. The main difference is just how you take apart and put together a strung resin doll compared to an MJD with a skeleton, but it changes nothing about the main process.

For silicone I sadly have no experience, but I would say airbrush is the best option there with such a soft surface. The biggest problem might be to find the matching color for the blush of both color mediums.

Thank you for the response! Apologies for the delay in mine. I must have missed the notification, doh.

Good to know that the resin blushing skills transfer over to vinyl, that makes things so much easier!
I wonder if I should just practice with the airbrush and do it that way all over just for consistency? But that also makes me pretty nervous, aha, it looks quite a bit harder.

Got a bunch of pastels to experiment with now though so maybe I’ll practice on some of my much cheaper blind box resin dolls instead of going straight for the DD knowing now about the skill crossover. Thanks again for your help!
