At long last, my grail boy!

I've been wanting a 9S for years! I love his character a lot, and I think the doll has the cutest face 🥰 I had my fanmade version, but always kept an eye out for the DD. A lot of people selling him secondhand ask for insane prices, so I passed a lot. Then on japanese secondhand sites (way better prices), he'd always show up when I didn't have the funds, and then be gone so fast. But this time, I saw 3 or 4! Of him on Dollyteria, and took it as a sign lol. So scrambled to get the money. Nothing makes you decide which of your dolls you can part with like a grail you need to grab really fast haha. So, I made a few quick sales. But right before I purchased on Dollyteria, I had a feeling I should check Mandarake and they had actually just listed a fullset (The dollyteria ones were all nude) for a bit less! So I got that one and here is~~

I'm so freaking happy! They ship so fast too! He got here in 2 days!

He has a few minor flaws but only 2 on the doll itself that are baaaarely noticable. A chip on the lip paint, that I can still barely see even if get right up close. And like.. the whisper of a stain on one of his wrists, that I think I can actually scrub off. This is the alleged "stain"

I gotta give it to them, they're thorough. I would not have even noticed it myself if you didn't tell me.

otherwise, the only other flaws are, the pleather on one boot is badly flaking off (With the other boot not far behind, but amazingly hasn't flaked), and the pod has a broken arm. I can replace the boots easy, and I don't care too much about the pod anyway so no issues to me! I'll likely change his undershorts to cotton since they're the same material as the boots, so I don't expect them to last much longer. But since I think his "lost my pants" look is super adorable, I'll be needing some shorts. (I would regularly run around in game like that lmao)

I will say the wig feels/looks a little cheap, which is something I have seen others say, so I'll likely replace that soon as well.

Anyway, I'm super happy, and can't wait to dress him up in a bunch of cute outfits and also make some clothes based on his concept arts and alt in-game outfits~ I also want to put some things inside his wee little bag just because it opens and I can.

Side note: I think it's cute Volks included a hairstyling guide in his manual lol
