Help Identifying MDD Set

Recommended Posts

lossychan

Hello! Today I went on DollyTeria and found a set I was really surprised to see.

spacer.png

I recognized this set from Angel Philia One Selection Doll #121, these are very limited fullset dolls that come with clothing, wigs, etc. I think often the clothes are not OOAK or extremely limited, however they are usually AP clothing.

On DollyTeria this was labelled “MDD” which might just be an accident, but pictures of this set show that the sleeves don’t fit super well, so I wondered if it was originally a MDD clothing set.

Here’s a link to the OSD listing (NSFW).

If anyone recognizes this set I’d like to know! Since it was pretty cheap I did purchase the DT listing.

The listing you linked just calls it Yumekawa Costume Set (ゆめかわコスチュームセット), which is not very helpful if you’ve tried googling it. It was probably just labeled MDD since Obitsu 48 is a somewhat similar size, and/or Dollyteria didn’t know what it was (which happens more often than you’d think).

I doubt it was an actual set by Volks since I don’t think branded companies can sell other brands’ products without a license, and Volks doesn’t play nice with other doll companies.

It’s probably a dealer outfit set, but idk whose. Angelphilia clothing is usually made by adela x Oshareyoikodo, but this one doesn’t look like their other stuff.

Looking back, Adela did post about the collection of OSD girls that included this one ^^. I believe she made the outfit, though in the past I assumed ones that didn’t have her name weren’t made by her I don’t know if that’s the case really ^^. I think she might do clothes for Angel Philia/ Quarantotto and clothes under her BOOTH name. I think this is probably intended for AP and the sleeves are short as a design feature.

Though she did not specify she made the OSD outfits, I believe if she was involved she might post about them. Unless I can find other evidence I think this is probably the case ^^. It was also one of her first posts on her current Twitter, I think she’s been involved with RAP/Quarantotto for a little while and maybe split off at some point to make the BOOTH. She mentions making older AP sets too ^^.

I’m not sure which Twitter account you’re talking about. It would be helpful if you could link to it.

Oshareyoikodo does almost all the clothes for AP. They sell stuff that fits other sizes on their Booth, but they’ve been making clothes for AP since at least as far back as 2020, and they almost always show up to Private Room. They’re a group of 3-4 older (40s-50s) women, although I’m not sure how involved each individual one is.

I always thought Adela was someone they collaborated with, but since they never use honorifics with her name, I’m starting to think Adela is either the pseudonym of the main person behind Oshareyoikodo, or the brand name.

https://x.com/horichinyoiko?s=21 Here is her Twitter ^^. It’s understandable if she works with a team or if there’s a second group working on AP clothes. She’s also used the Twitter for a while, it’s just that the oldest image posts displayed on Twitter when I look are of these OSD sets. Sorry to cause any trouble ^^.

Yeah, that’s Oshareyoikodo’s Twitter account (as you can see, they have Oshareyoikodo/おしゃれ良い子堂 as the account name). It seems both the Twitter and Booth accounts are run by one person (called Horichiinu/ほりちーぬ), but they are actually multiple people operating as a circle.

I understand! I didn’t know how to refer to her. I’ll keep that in mind.
