But I haven't really seen anyone talk about this feature since. Has anyone tried shortening their DD/DDS 2.0 this way and could share how it looks? I'm also curious if Volks included any pamphlet/guide paper on how to go about it or not. I know my old Nero came with a whole guide just for how to dress her, so I wouldn't be surprised. I'd love to know how hard it is to do and if y'all feel like it was a worthwhile (presumably permanent) change! I'm planning on getting a DDS 2.0 body in the future and I'm really looking forward to the new shortening mechanic since the character I want to use it for is rather short. Has anyone tried shortening their DD/DDS 2.0 this way and could share how it looks? I did do this surgery on my sole DD 2.0 body. I have an awesome Kantai Collection Sendai cosplay outfit that includes the full rigging as a resin kit (you can see a finished example of halfway down this Japanese page) that was designed with a DDf3 in mind. I purchased a brand new DD 2.0 body for her instead, and found that her basic outfit, a single-piece shirt + skirt combo, wouldn't fit the DD 2.0 body properly. Basically the skirt portion is very short, and on a DD 2.0 she would be constantly flashing her panties at everyone nearby even when standing up*. On a DDf3 (non 2.0) this wasn't the case. The cause is a combination of minor changes to the skeleton and the differently proportioned vinyl shell pieces. And buying a different body was out of the question. Mind you, this was before the DDH-05 head I wanted for to buy for her went out of stock at Volks and has been for close to 18 months by now...meaning Sendai is on hold until I get her head. * I mean, technically Sendai is a female ninja, so from a historically accurate point of view exploiting her sexiness wouldn't be out of the question, but the character doesn't do that out in the open and is more interested in covert operations (in all senses of the words)😅. It's not hard to do, but you'll need a fine-toothed modelling saw - photo-etched or railroad saws both work. Take frame out of body, prop it up against something solid, set saw into ridge and cut at a straight angle.

I'll keep your advice in mind when I do get the body ☆⋅⋆ ───FIND ME ON─── ⋆⋅☆ DoA | Twitter | Instagram ☆⋅⋆ ────── ⋆⋅☆
