Pit Posted September 2 (edited) Hi everyone! As the title says, I was looking for a direct comparison between these two bodies. I found some videos and images on social media, but they weren't as detailed as I had hoped, so here is my attempt. One thing to note is that, AFAIK, the 2.0 version is not yet available for individual purchase or as separate parts officially from Volks. The only way to get it right now is by purchasing Tsukina or a collaboration doll. I got mine with the first option. Second, I will be doing the comparison with a Base Body III version, since the f3 1.0 is practically the same thing, except for slightly better posability. The body shape itself is the same as the f3 1.0. Third, I will be using the Normal bust shape for the f3/III (and a little bonus surprise). That said, let´s begin. Here we have a frontal comparison. The left side is the 2.0 version, and the right side is the f3/III version: Here is a slightly elevated frontal angle to better appreciate both busts. The clavicle has some differences, but they are not as noticeable compared to the breasts. The 2.0 version has no nipple shape and doesn't have the curve underneath the breasts: As you can see, the difference is quite noticeable in the lower torso as well. The 2.0 version has curvier hips, more noticeable (but smaller) hip bones, a different belly button shape, and a thinner pelvis. Regarding the legs, we have a slightly curvier shape along the lower inner part of both thighs. Lastly, regarding the calves, honestly, I don't see any difference except for the shorter ankles on the 2.0 version. Now for the side view. The 2.0 version has a straighter back: From the back, the butt is more rounded compared to the f3 1.0/III. The back of the knee is clearly different, but that is because these calves are from a III Base Body. The f3 1.0 and 2.0 are exactly the same in this regard. Now, posability: The 2.0 has a greater side-to-side range in the upper torso. Better backbending: And better ab crunch as well: And finally, the legs have a slightly better range of motion when spread: If you try to exchange the busts, the 2.0 bust is compatible with the 1.0 body, but not the other way around. You can try to force it, and it might fit, but I don't recommend it: Here is a closer angle so you can see what I mean: Finally, the neck. For this comparison, I brought two of my girls: Sheryl with this new body, and Alna with the f3 1.0 version, BUT using a Peach Pai silicone bust. For that reason alone, Alna's neck range of motion would be wider: Even so, I think Sheryl holds her own. It's definitely a great improvement compared to the original f3 1.0/III DDdy bust. Same pose, two different angles so you can appreciate it better: And that's all! (One last photo below because why not? 😄) I think this body is gorgeous. It's like a fusion between a Smart Doll and a DDdy. Now for the final verdict between the 1.0/III and 2.0: Pros: - Better posability. - Softer vinyl. Cons: - Previous bust versions are not compatible (at least not in my experience. Maybe you could make them fit without damaging anything). - The body is not currently available for purchase separately from Volks. You have to buy a complete doll or get one from a reseller. - This last point is subjective, but if you have girls with mod parts (like my Alna) that improve posability, I'm not sure you really need this body. The 1.0 version's shape is still beautiful, and with mods, you could match or even exceed the posability offered by the 2.0 version. I hope this post is useful to all of you! BrukySama Posted September 11 I really think an DDdy 2.0 version has an pretty much more realistic structure right now! Finally can compete with a SmD Evolve Frame, the curves are sooo pleasing to look at compared to the ordinary DDdy-f3 1.0. And I would like to ask, do you think or know if the two bodies have an weight difference?
Celluery Posted September 12 Thanks for posting this, I tried looking for this comparison a while ago and couldn’t really find one! I was thinking of getting a DDDy for an eventual third doll, but I was always a little put off by the original body. I think the 2.0 looks much nicer and a little more “natural”. I doubt it, but I’m wondering if other bust sizes fit any better on the 2.0 Dynamite body than the original?

Honestly, I didn't really notice much of a difference in weight, but I do think the 2.0 is a bit lighter (not by much, though), probably because the vinyl is thinner. I assume they made it this way to give it a nicer feel and improve the articulation/posability. You can really notice this difference in some areas when trying to put it in a fetal position, for example.

They both have the same lower-torso measurements. BUT, I think you could probably modify these pieces with a box cutter or something similar. I guess the same would apply to a DD f3 2.0 bust, but I don't have one to test the theory.
AbrakadbrA Posted September 21 I got Tsukina on Dolpa... & no clothes marked for DDdy/DD M/L fits her. Volks need to update those labels specifically for her vvvvery curvy body & chest & I specifically asked Dolpa attendant to pick clothes for her that will fit. And bought everything with theirs assistance. Well good that I have other DDs but sad that Tsukina sits in her default basic outfit.

Huh that's weird, the differences between the older body and 2.0 shouldn't be so big that outfits no longer fit. I have both new and older volks outfits for Sasara and they all fit, even if some are a lil tight you can still get them on. What outfits did you get for her? I don't see why a staff member would reccommend outfits that don't actually fit
