Rise has arrived (I've put Urethane Eyes in her)

A late congratulation on your DD Rise , I really like the new look you tried on her , I still have to find my

own DD Rise looks...I kind of like the default eyes but I seem to be the only one

Hahaha, they do have a charm, don't they? I really loved the color of them! They're a really, really lovely brown... but for me... I just saw this girl having non-animatics... so it's not just her eyes that I don't like in her, it's most animatics, LOL... I'm too picky!

The eyes look great. I'm totally considering switching out PG's acrylic eyes for something else, something non-animetic. Like my resin girl's eyes actually looks like she's looking at me when I take her picture, PG just looks like she's staring off into space or stoned out of her mind lol. So do Rise's new eyes follow you like glass ones do?

Absolutely, Urethane are a lot like glass, but the color is often a lot richer... the color also has a way of looking awesome in photographs... but they can be pricier too.

 

I think if you're used to resin kids, looking at DD girls with animatic eyes is quite the aesthetic switch... especially if you're going to have resin and DD side by side.

 

The one thing I generally don't like about glass or urethane eyes in DD girls is that most DD girls have HUGE, anime shaped eye-wells... so they often end up with what I call "starey-eye" where the pupil sits right in the middle and they look like they're STARING at you. XD

 

Sometimes you can fix the "starey" feeling with animatic eyes by choosing a pair with very dark pupils... as opposed to the pairs with lighter pupils.

Kudos! Now I wish I had a character for Rise. She would fit in well.
