Alphakitty Posted August 19, 2012 DDS Mariko was one of those dolls I wasn't really sure about until I saw user photos. The Volks promo ones look stiff, and I don't think her stock wig flatters her at all. However, SirNarwhal and I went for her anyway (mostly for the unique body type), & won and (thankfully!) we both ended up falling in love! We don't usually rename our dolls but for her we did--Rose, which seemed very fitting. I've seen quite a few flower-named Marikos, it just suits her so well! The legwarmers and dress/undershirt are part of a set that I combined with her stock tights and shoes, they work so well together! I saw her on flickr, I love Mariko's mold and it suits the wig and that name really well. What a sweet set of photos! Thanks. ^^ It took a long time to decide on a wig for her, but I just love the pale hair and pale skin together! Rose is lovely! She looks like such a sweetie! She does look a lot like Yukino because of the downturned eyes and nervous smile, I've never seen a side by side comparison of them but it would be interesting to see how similar they are! She's got a very different personality than my other girls and I wanted to style her appropriately! LOVE HER!!! The wig is so soft and lovely with her, and Rose is a wonderful name...
