A bedroom in the attic

I found so many cool stuff this year that I had to finally

make my Lizbeth (MDD Konomi) 's bedroom . She is

my little ghost and she likes to have time by herself with

all her things coming from different times of her life .

 

Here is my new set-up , I hope you like it ! ^_^

Hi ! Welcome in my new bedroom ! It is cozy and quiet , as my sisters are afraid to come here , they say it is creepy and it can be haunted ...but I'm the only ghost in this house and they are playing with me all the time O_o

L: Yes ! My mommy bought it to me just before I got sick .

Lizbeth's new room is awesome...and those props are just incredible! I can only imagine how hard you worked and searched to come up with everything and then create her own personal space! Wonderful job...and I'm not letting any of my girls see this posting because there is just no way I have time to do something like this!

Thats a properly cool loft with all the items.

 

Can relate to the prop hunting taking so long. Managed to find a local (as in the same country as I am) webstore with loads of dollhouse props, only to find out the scale was for 1/12 dolls.. minor dissapointment ensued (But as consolation now have a source for items for scratch building atleast).

 

So in that sense its real fun to see a collection of scale stuff come together.

1:12 scale props are the most popular on the market , there are a lot of people building doll's houses , it has been popular for centuries (in the UK At first I was only finding the furniture for my girls on BDJ's websites but since I discovered many American's companies like American girl , and MY TWINN have accessories and furnitures that fit for our girls , it helped me a lot . But still I wish those stores were in Canada

I always wanted to build a set-up with windows , they do it all the time with smaller dolls , but it was more complicated to find windows big enough for our attic I'm glad I found some on Ebay , I really don't have the tools and skills to make them myself

Hello awesome story love the room , going to make one for my wife's dolls, would love to see more..

 

If you are talking about the construction of the room , I made it with cardboard panels with foam inside so

I could cut the window's holes . But if you have tools you could use wood panels , it would be more solid.

It takes a lot of place because of the size of the dolls , you can see my 3 set-ups in this post :

I haven't yet, I just finished her futon yesterday. Now it's time to make some little pillows!

It is not secret connections , it is 4 years of searching I am really happy that you are reading my posts , thank you for the supports , now I really know people enjoy my set-ups and it makes me really happy

The biggest diorama is on a table of 6X4 feet , that is the living room , I wish it was bigger ;_; But yes , usually I find props and furniture , here and there and finally put a room together . But sure , I have a plan at the beginning Thank you so much for your interest and the nice comments ! I really appreciate it
