DD High Heel Feet - 3rd party

Has anyone gotten this item before? I wonder how is the color matching.

 

I'm tempted to get one for SD16 sandals and such.

These are the same as wersaze.

 

I have them too. Not too impressed with them since the left and right feet aren't exact mirror images in terms of shape, particularly where the joint was attached to the resin foot.

Not to hijack this thread, but is there a good source for DD high heel feet? Rika has so many heels she can't currently use.

I haven't found any. If you find some, please share =)

 

I wish Volks would make some. I'm sure they would be just as popular as alternate hands and busts.

Dang, how disappointing! I will let you know if I do come across something, my girl has too many cute heels for me to give up.

I will make a good comparison photo after I go back from vacation.

Though from afar, they make good photos!

And one more thing about it,

You need to be extremely cautious when putting it on as it can be too tight and "scratch" the vinyl. .

Mine got stuck really hard inside and need to pull it really hard, even with hairdryer help.

Here are a pic I took with my ipad a while back. Normal skin. The heel feet are not as yellow as the DD normal skin. They are more pink.

Would these work on the DDS bodies?

Wait, resin feet for heels? I don't understand. My DDs can just point their toes and fit into sd16 heels AND stand on their own...

linainversetsg I assume they would work on a DDS, I'm pretty sure the feet connector is the same size for all dollfie dreams.

 

atomicwombat I do believe these are more for aesthetic purposes... and the occasional heeled shoe that a dollfie can't squeeze her ankles into.

 

^^ Thank you for the reference pictures Bubbles! I plan on getting a pair of these feet for one of my girls eventually~ There are too many pretty open toe shoes, and the fact that my dollfies toes won't show up kind of irks me :'D

I'm kinda bothered by the slight difference in color, and the difference it texture from the DD skin. I am banging my head against a wall as to why Volks has not made heel feet an option part.

 

If you buy them you will likely need to do some sanding on the toes to get off some square edges from poor resin casting.

I have a lot of shoes my girl can't fit into. Out of the two pairs she can get into, only one she can stand and look normal in, and they're Steampunk style. They don't really match much of Rika's wardrobe. It really bothers me that I can't get her to wear such cute shoes! I'm considering getting a pair of these feet because of this, even if they don't match her vinyl.

Coco - What kind of shoes would fit your girl's waredrobe style? There are a lot of heeled shoes that fit the DD feet. Maybe I could give you some suggestions. I would say the resin heel feet are mostly for if you want to put heeled sandals or open toed pumps on your DD.

Well, mostly the problem is that I already have four pairs of heel shoes for her that she can't wear. Rika's mostly casual, but periodically I'd like her to wear heeled boots like these: http://us.sk-coolcat.com/front/bin/ptdetail.phtml?Part=ls16_4 which I'm aware are already marketed to DD girls, but I have heard that some girls have a hard time standing in them. I'm just tired of gambling on a cute and sometimes pricey pair of heels and then seeing them not work. Because Rika is the only girl I have that can wear them, they go into the drawer if they can't be used. There are also a ton of heeled sandals and open-toed shoes I really want for her. D:

My two most used pairs of shoes that I have are these ones. They both let DD stand easily without using a doll stand (if that's what you meant), with the regular DD feet. Not sure these fit Rika's style.

Taobao has some nice boots. I got these from this shop and they allow DD to stand with no problem without a doll stand.

I just got these from Crobidoll. The photos are regular DD feet in these, with no stand.

 

 

Ah, that first pair is so cute! It looks like maybe I'll just have to shop more on Taobao. About what would you say the inner size of the shoe should be for a better fit? Do you have any trouble putting the boots on?

For heeled shoes I almost strictly look for SD16 shoes since I like the heel profile.

 

For flat shoes, an inner length between 7.0cm and 8.0cm seems to be best.

 

If talking about using the regular DD feet:

Boots with laces usually have no issues at the ankle since you can loosen the laces make that part wider. The black non-laced boots from lespacelibre I linked earlier are not tight at the ankle. The Luts boots I linked are tight at the ankle and heel, but still fit generally with no issue. I like the lespacelibre and Luts boots since the material is soft and allows the DD to bend at the ankles fairly easily.

I also have this pair of boots, which is tight at the ankle and is hard to angle the leg back. The material is more stiff.

Its seem its already long forgotten thread but I just found about the heeled feet for dd and really interested for getting one, actually the flat feet just works fine but its looks kinda weird when you put a tight boots, they look kinda have a tumour on the ankle, especially when the boots material was thin, anyway does anyone have a link for instock heel feet on taobao?? Or somewhere else??
