I went up to the Flipside Doll Guild doll meet in Port Jervis, New York yesterday. It was a wonderful time! There were lots of dolls dressed up for the season, and even some that weren't! (Mine. Mine were not Halloweenish at all.) There were amazing displays all over. I particularly loved the scale bookshelf with all sorts of spooky curiosities. The vaguely occult slumber party was also adorable. I wish I knew there was going to be a slumber party! I would've brought Eva's pajamas. I especially enjoyed seeing the adorable Angel Philia lounging on the pillow. Bummer about the staining, but what a cute scene! I brought my typical for me Iplehouse-heavy entourage. Harace was wearing a Luts outfit I picked up on ebay recently. It's a little small for her, the zipper won't go all the way up, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I also hiked up the petticoat a little bit. I just folded the elastic downwards one time. I felt like the petticoat was too long otherwise. Maggie was wearing her precious cat-themed outfit that she was wearing at the Dryden, New York meet last weekend. I am so in love with Maggie lately. She is turning out to be a super cute lady. Harace and Maggie (these are both SID Carved Heritage Harace dolls) were enjoying an ice cream date, holding hands and taking a stroll. So lovely! My beloved Eva continues to steal my heart with her everythingness all these years later! I brought her out in her white dress again, but this time I added her favorite book to her ensemble. Cookie (BID Bordy) makes another squeeable appearance with her oversized cookie! She is so cute. And finally, I brought the new Transformers Decepitcon Grim. He is a Grave Digger monster truck that transforms into the Grim Reaper. This is far outside my usual categorization of Transformers figures, but I just couldn't resist picking Grim up. I'm glad I got him in time for the Halloween meet. It was my one contribution to the theme. Finally, a couple of us took a side quest to Lunar Faire at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in New Jersey. We ran into a couple dolls we know, and their humans as well! That was a nice surprise. Group shots and highlights are in this post.
