Amane (The fate of blaze) - Azone Direct Store Ver.

I initially came across her while browsing AmiAmi as I first took the plunge - someone recommended either Azone or Volks as a first doll, so I went looking for what pre-owned dolls might be out there. I immediately fell in love, but forced myself to hold off; if this became a impulse buy, she'd be better off sitting there and waiting for someone else, y'know?

Well, those months passed, she was still there, and I still wanted her. So I pulled the trigger last week and she showed up yesterday! I was so excited that I forgot to take photos before getting a couple of clothes on her, and my phone's camera isn't the greatest so its a bit grainy, so sorry about that!

Here she is half dressed, with her underwear, haori, and pants(/狩袴 (karibakama), which I had never heard of before her).

Oh WOW I absolutely love her style. We need more girl dolls with pants!!! Her sword is awesome and so are her fox ears. That last photo is so badass

to start Tweaking your Hunnie there... Coating the Eyes with Clear Coat (I Work with TAMIYA COLOR)

will give her eyes a realistic sense of Moistness and Depth.

i have done just this for both my First AZONE Girl, "Kureha Mihagi" as well as my Hybrid Custom 2nd, "Mayuka Sasamori"

and have also Detailed/Filled out their Luscious little Lips;

Yes! I plan on making more for her but the patterns I bought are for DDP, so they will need a little bit of tweaking. Also on pants; I do personally find it a bit funny that the recommended outfits in the back of the booklet all use dresses and skirts when she really feels more like a tomboy.

I think I've also seen someone else talk about doing this over in the Azone 50 general thread, but honestly I'm a bit scared to give it a try myself - I've already slipped while gluing one of her shoulder pads back onto her cape x.x

Its something I'll definitely keep in mind, but it might be a while before I'm brave enough to do it.

Makes sense, given they're from the same company, therefore would have similar stylistic decisions despite different bodies/heads.

What a cool doll! She really gives off swashbuckler vibes, haha.
