Like what size links and where could i buy charms that unique if you dont mind me asking. Its lovely work. I'm glad you like them. ^_^ I made them with pliers and odds and ends. They're probably between 3 and 5mm. In terms of the charms? I trawl vintage stores/flea markets and make quality/safety judgements.
Lala Lolita Posted January 6, 2013 I've actually been making jewelry. I meant to be sewing but I can't find my sewing machine power cord... Apologies for the yellow light in my dining room. There's also another necklace, a double chain one, that I've not taken pictures of yet. So pretty! Do you sell these? I don't have money, but I barter with clothes. @blushingbjd
misskale Posted January 7, 2013 So pretty! Do you sell these? I don't have money, but I barter with clothes. I have been thinking about it, but I didn't know if anyone would like them at all. ^_^;
SisterKyoya Posted January 7, 2013 The most recent projects I had time to finish were elf hats! Our kids put these out for Santa to fill instead of stockings. Dolly and Yuriko were happy because there was room for more candy. I have been thinking about it, but I didn't know if anyone would like them at all. ^_^; I think things like this are great but I'm surprised that more of it isn't easily available. I know i'd be interested. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

faustbane Posted January 7, 2013 Right now I'm working on a Cheongsam for my DDdy body. I'm currently only in the pattern drafting and making a test garment stage. Those huge boobs make tailored clothes so difficult! I'm afraid to even go near the brocades I bought for the finished dress >_

Currently trying to work through this issue with Naiomi (DDS L shapely) who is no where near the proportions of a DDdy. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
Nelly19 Posted January 8, 2013 Really? I just cut the inside depending on the thickness it was recommended by another user. Kai is killing me sewing wise, soo much curves!!! But I refuse to but clothing, I don't want her wearing the same things >.> I can't get around shoes but clothing wise, I prefer realistic casual clothing, not French maids, bunnies, lotias or bsdm stuff ^.^ it's just a preference. :/ and a shame for a beginner like me lol Learning that its safe outside my shell too
Yukamina Posted January 8, 2013 For Christmas my sister was wonderful and made me doll clothes for DDII M bust If anyone's interested I can post the patterns she made. There's a way of compensating for busts without sewing an actual dart--I don't know how to do it myself, though. I have a tank top pattern that works that way (for M bust). Jezrah Posted January 12, 2013 I didn't have time to take in progress pictures, since I procrastinated til the last day. But here are some finished pics of a Waloli outfit that I made for a Secret Santa exchange gift in my local meet group. My partner's MSD size doll was a Leekeworld Mikhaila. Since she has such strange proportions, I wanted to take the challenge to make something for her. I hope it ended up fitting- she wasn't able to come so I had to leave the present with her friend. This was my first try at something quite like this. But Mitsuki looked so cute modeling that now I need to make one for her. This particular skirt is a bit big on her though, since Mikhaila has impressively large hips.

faustbane Posted January 19, 2013 Currently making a skirt. I'm debating if I should add some ribbon trim or maybe a little apron?

katnaper Posted January 21, 2013 Just finished a couple of slouchie beanies and an infinity scarf for my girls. Will post pics once I finish a couple more as these first ones were made of rather heavy yarn . Still trying to experiment. Will be using one of those lighter ones used in making afghans for babies and see how that goes. My own kid is insisting I make her one after I finish the dolls'. Lots of crocheting for me to do in the following weeks I guess. We have our own BLOG. Please visit us at the House of Nyan by clicking this link or our sig above. See you there. Or, come see what Nyanko-sensei is up to at the Katnaper's Den
faustbane Posted January 22, 2013 Skirt finished, added white petticoat and ribbon details on front I'm also now in progress of making a mold for, and tomorrow casting in resin, high heel shoe bases. I've made yeti boot before but I want to try making my own high heels. In order to do that I need a strong base that will be able to hold the weight of a doll. I thought about making them in clays but I feel that those materials wouldn't be strong enough so I'm casting them in resin instead. Here's my latex molds: I plan to make the actual shoe parts in leather and in various styles
SisterKyoya Posted January 22, 2013 I've always wondered how someone would do that but I could never figure it out. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
faustbane Posted January 22, 2013 I've always wondered how someone would do that but I could never figure it out. ~Sister Kyoya This blog is a good source for ideas on how to make shoes. It's 1/6 scale fashion dolls but the principals are the same. I'm also following some of the ideas in the yoshida style ball joint doll book.
