What are you making?

Starting to make a casual dress and wa-loli kimono for DDdy. I can't wait to see how things go together - I can't believe how much I like the DDdy body!!

Oh let us know how the waloli for the Dy goes. I made a cosplay last year with a similar style top and I really had trouble fitting it over her boobs.

haha My Kumei loves clothes like this- more simplistic and elegant, yet young. Why does Miss Rainie dislike that style?

She was forced to wear Naiomi's outfit (made from the same AG pattern as the one Autumn is wearing) and complained the entire 15 minutes he had it on.

 

 

Rainie: "How can Naiomi stand this thing? I don't mind the pink, but it is so floppy and long and you can't even run around in it! Its just so ruffly, and poofy, and lacy... and just icky! I wanna take it off!"

 

 

Rainie: "Ah, these are MUCH better! I like these because they won't get in the way when I'm running my troops through their spy workout! I will need you to sew on some suspenders onto the skirt first Mama... What? Can't you make Autumn another one so I can have this one?"

 

Autumn: "Er..."

 

In short, Rainie is my no nonsense, no frills tomboy. If she has something to say, she will matter-of-factly say it. She is still wearing Autumn's skirt until I can maker another one of the same style that actually fits her and doesn't have the ruffle.

Just out of curiosity, Avnia, what wig is that and where did you get it? It reminds me a lot of Yuriko's original, but MUCH MUCH better.

Ravendruid: It is from Monique's. Tori in Chocolate Red. I have a habit of ordering random wigs from there, just to see how they really look.

first time successfully baking polymer clay! i hope to make my own food props once i get the hang of it.

I was given two large bags of trim and tulle scraps, so I'm trying to figure out what to make with them... besides tutus, haha. This is my favorite piece so far, a long robe. Back detail. Made a little nightie to go with it, but in the end I don't like it much. I'll need to revise the design a bit!

I'm making a red gingham little red riding hood style outfit. Still in the WIP stage and I will post pics when I can

Since my first Dollfie Dream is being purchased in parts I had to make her some underwear which has gone through many .. many failed attempts since I have never used a sewing machine or really sewn ever. ... I will also be making her outfit with the help of my mom. It is supposed to be a long black pleated skirt and a princess cut shirt.

As for the single recent project I did just happened to be Fimo chocolates. I haven't had time to take any photos, but I keep hoping that the two batches I sent out at Valentines might turn up somewhere on the forums. Since I only have classes 4 days a week next quarter I'm hoping that it might afford me at least a little DD time before Summer, but since it's 2 art classes and ceramics, who knows...

 

I so miss making DD stuff.
