Hi everyone! I’m Carlos, a doll collector from Alaska, where apparently living in the frozen north wasn’t enough of a reason to fill my home with tiny people who require their own wardrobes. 😂 I currently have a total of 109 dolls, because apparently collecting dolls is my chosen method of home decoration. My collection includes 31 Smart Doll/Dollfie Dream vinyl dolls—15 Smart Dolls and 16 Dollfie Dream, three of which are hybrids using Smart Doll or Parabox bodies. I also have 68 Barbies, 6 Disney ILY dolls, 1 Rainbow High, 1 Monster High, and 2 porcelain dolls. When I’m not adding another doll to the collection and insisting that I definitely have room for one more, I enjoy designing and sewing doll clothes, drawing, playing video games, and escaping into fantasy and sci-fi. I especially love creating outfits for my dolls, because apparently owning 109 dolls wasn't enough—I also decided they all needed wardrobes. 😂 My husband has recently informed me that if I want to add any more dolls, I may need to sell some first. I believe this is a completely unreasonable attack on my collecting philosophy. After all, where exactly am I supposed to put the next doll? 🤔😂 I’m here to admire everyone’s collections, share my own doll adventures and creations, learn new things, and occasionally pretend I have my collecting habits completely under control. Spoiler: I absolutely do not. 😄

So I recently rediscovered the peyote stitch and wanted to use it to make some stuff for my smartdoll, but that's a lot of work when I have no idea if it would work at all, so Barbie to the rescue ...as a guinea pig. The result turned out pretty good, so I wanted to share.
