I think it's about time I start posting my photos on here ! I've been meaning to make a thread for agess and now I'm finally getting round to it. Let's start with introducing my girls ❤️ Sasara Kusugawa (20th anniversary vers) My holy grail, and the reason why I got into collecting dollfies ! I love Sasara very deeply, and for the last 2 years I have been collecting as much merch of her as I can ! Owning one of her dollfies was my ultimate goal, something I put off because of how expensive and rare they are. I thought they'd be something I'd obtain after collecting most of the merch I wanted of her, but it seems fate had other plans, as volks rereleased her ! That clickwar was one of the most stressful things I have ever experienced lol but I was luckily able to grab her, and finally had my dream doll in my hands ❤️ She is my baby girl, I've been having so much fun over the last few months taking her out places and dressing her up, she is truly beautiful. Izumi (Custom MDD 2.0) After getting Sasara, the doll obsession started to kick in. I realised MDD's have so many cute clothes made for them that regular dollfies either don't have, or wouldn't fit Sasara's more curvy body. And I was craving one of those cute, childish dolls I often see people have. And so I started saving up for an MDD ! Originally I planned on just buying a custom head from Japan and then picking up the other pieces like the body, outfit, wig etc afterwards, since there were tons of cute heads on Japanese secondhand/auction sites in the style that I wanted, but I ended up coming across a listing for a full doll that I absolutely fell in love with, and for the same price as my budget for putting a custom one together ! I saw her while browsing on my lunch break at work, and couldn't stop thinking about her afterwards, so I went and bought her as soon as I finished lol I decided to call her Izumi, and she's my pink, cute, bratty lil girl ❤️ I have a couple photoshoots to post here, so I'll be spreading them out over the next few days ! But we'll start with Sasara's first ever trip outside ❤️ A visit to the park For Sasara's first visit to the outside world, I took her to the park ! I found a nice quiet spot underneath a tree that was perfect for her, the petals matched her outfit so nicely ! Which I love on her so much, the pink leopard print gave me gyaru vibes and I just had to get it for her. We also stopped to take photos by some pretty purple flowers, where she showed off her bag ! It's a bag charm from stradivarius, I saw it while shopping with my family and knew it'd be perfect for this outfit ❤️I was pretty nervous about taking her outside, but things went well ! Definitely got a few stares from people but it didn't bother me too much, my partner was with me too so it felt a bit less awkward than being on my own. I also have a bonus pic of her shoved inside her tote bag lol I waited agesss for the dollfie tote to come back into stock, I'm so glad it did just in time for our outings ! I decorated it by sewing some lace onto the front (don't ask to see what the inside looks like,, I focused on getting it secure not looking pretty lmao). I also added cute wing clips, some bows on the straps, a bag charm to hang on the front, and I inserted a desk mat I had of Sasara which happened to be the perfect size for the background insert ! You can't see it here but I do have an acrylic charm of Sasara on one side, and a badge in a cute cat case on the other side ! I'm really happy with how the bag looks, it turned out exactly how I imagined it would and is so perfect for her ❤️ That's all for now ! More adventures will be coming soon ^^
