EDIT: I put this in the wrong section by total accident. I'm so so sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reported the post 💔 Hello, I'm new to Dollfies- I recently saw one locally for a good price, discounted to 250. She has clear blemishes and the seller had some ambiguity if she's broken in any places. (To me, her arm and leg looked very loose.) The doll is a Saber (Extra: Last Encore). However, this seems a bit too good to be true to me. Do you know how I can verify if the doll is legit? She still has her box and all of her pieces that I can see. I don't really care too much if she's a little broken u_u but I also don't want to be scammed. Thank you everyone.

When buying used dolls or parts do you recommend doing a clean-up of everything when it arrives? And if so, how would you recommend I do so -- some gentle soap and rinse under tap? Soak? Just a little wet towel wipe down? My first DD was secondhand but new condition (she's old, but seemingly never used) so I didn't have to worry about that and I honestly don't know what's the norm for used items! I always handle my dolls with gloves but I know that most people do not, so I'm erring towards cleaning, just not sure what's the best way to do it for a vinyl doll.

Hi! I found someone who would want to buy my 40/45 upper male body part but i don’t know what to price it, i also have 40/45 lower male body part and a obitsu 45cm head that i don’t know what to price. It is perfect condition and i bought the body and head from someone who never used it, no modifications done and i sketched a little on the head but i erased it but there may be some spots i missed.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but it doesn’t fit neatly into the other on-topic categories, nor is it an off-topic doll. Does anyone know how to navigate Dollyteria? If I’m looking up something specific and can lookup the Japanese keyword for the name, I do fine. If I use Yahoo! Japan’s search engine of all things, find the item number from the listing, and search on their site, I do fine. How the heck do I search for just “doll” (not clothes)? Are there categories? I find the interface confusing because there’s so many screenshots of Japanese text that therefore cannot be translated by my web browser. I’ve found cool things there in the past, but I just can’t seem to navigate the darn thing!
