New Basic Dolls

Cocoa Chito looks just cute as all get out....  "Cochito"? either/or, at this point,the other names she's been given are cute, too.

(I know I won't "qualify" to get any SmDs, so the Kiddos and I will just live vicariously thru everyone else's pics......)   

 

(We don't want you to not make new things, we want you to finish the things you are working on and keep new dolls in the store for more than a month or two so people have a chance to get them. Or at least SAY "this doll will be available for X amount of time only" and stick to that.)

(I would call bs on Danny's "we can't make small things because physics" simply because of the fact small things exist. But it would mean changing the way he works, so it's more like "I don't wanna do it" than "the universe literally won't let me, guys! Because... atoms!")

I’m not sure where he gets the idea that the laws of physics break down in a black hole. Black holes obey the laws of physics, and Hawking’s black hole paradox is close to being solved. They’ve even been building models that show what’s going on inside a black hole. 

I guess black holes obey different laws in smart doll land.

About the guys - Anybody know why chaos-grade items are priced the same, or more than regular items/sets? A chaos guy frame, body, unassembled (and even uncut), no head. You end up paying more for it, than for a standard quality-approved doll

I'm guessing demand. 😕 People are thirsty (not in that way) for those boy dolls, and he knows it.

The cynical side of me says it’s because he’s made clear he thinks boy dolls = gay feelz, and this may be a surcharge on people who want them. Just my own opinion though. 

To put it simply, I think Danny wants to be the only boy for his SmD girls.

(But I guess girl dolls dating is okay and guys dating their girl dolls is okay...but not guy dolls dating girl dolls either?)

(Does he also want to keep track of chaos-created dolls because I can see someone buying up a bunch of boy parts and putting them together as full dolls and making a ton selling them.) 

 

In the past he's made throwaway "share them with your friends" comments regarding chaos heads. Dunno if the same is true with chaos boys.

Although tbf if I'd gone through the work of trimming the vinyl and putting the doll together, I'd probably wanna make a bit of cash. Only because that stuff is work and I can guess that it takes a while! Only a bit of cash, though. I can imagine there are people who might appreciate the service of assembling a doll (disabled people etc, particularly if one has any mobility or musculoskeletal issues). Scalping, however, is crummy!

Hey, does anybody know what happened to the page for the semi-real version of Singularity? I can’t find her anywhere. I can see all the other blue dolls (all sold out, of course) except for her. I even checked the SmD/CJ news archives and couldn’t find anything about her.

I don't know why she isn't with Moment, but you can find her page in Secret Stuff, Release history -section, 2021-07. She is Sold Out, just like Moment.

I wonder if production will cease for less popular dolls to focus on the ones that frequently appear in the "Back Soon-ish" section.
