If anyone else has taken any photos of their Volks Lost Angels, Marmits or other scrungly 1/6 dolls lately and feel like sharing, that would be cool! 

 

Custom, "To Heart" (1999) Multi Kurusugawa (Green Bobbie) and "To Heart 2" (2004) Konomi Yuzuhara (Brunette Pigtails) Dolls...

Both Utilizing the 26cm. OBITSU Body, with Custom Fashions, Modified Character Statue Head for Multi, and Custom Face-Up work;

always found marmit dolls underrated, they are really adorable. Just got mine a few weeks ago, despite all these years the doll is still glowing

Thank you! I haven’t done much tho, was moving to a new apartment these days and still haven’t unpacked my doll clothes hehe. So I’ve just changed an outfit for her:) but it’s already lovely enough to have her sit around you<3

Just updating you guys with some new arrivals for September 🍂 I managed to get my hands on a Lost Angels Reika, who is one of three Lost Angels still left on my wishlist! Only two to go now~ 
 

 

She came brand new in her box with all her stuff, I just snapped a messy pic once I'd undressed her ^^; Also...I bought a Q'z body from Mandarake for her! 🎉
 

 

Mini review - my initial thoughts about the Q'z are mixed. It feels as though higher quality plastic was used, and it has a lovely weighty, velvety feel to it. The finish almost looks and feels like handling a figure, rather than an Azone doll. The joints seem pretty stiff and don't move that fluidly, although I hope that will improve with time and handling. It does look beautiful, but I think I prefer the range of motion on previous Azone bodies (e.g. Feel and Emotion lines) as they're a lot nicer to handle and, imo, pose more naturally. I'm also not a fan of the hands - they look much more realistic, which is nice I guess, but I prefer the simpler, stylised anime look of the regular Pureneemo hands! 

Also, she can't do simple poses like cross one foot in front of the other.

However, it does look pretty so I'm not disappointed with it and look forward to how this hybrid will turn out 🎀

OBITSU 26es are Quite Excellent... Though they might not have the Physical Form Factor you seem to be looking for;

@Tasuke I already have 2 girls on Obitsu 26 and I do love them, I just enjoy having lots of body types in my collection. 
 

also, would you mind putting these large images under a spoiler? Just so it doesn’t take up lots of space in the thread. Thank you! ☺️ 

Yeah; Perhaps i should have Given the AZONE Q'z a shot before this T-Business came along.

i suppose i should at least be Grateful that i fitted out all of my Sixth Scale Girls (Eleven of them) in the OBITSU 26 before this Mess started in...

Started on Reika's mods yesterday, I have removed her ears using a scalpel and then sanded the area smooth. One thing left to do, and then I'm done...

Finally, my beauty Reika is complete 🖤 

I modded the Qz body and added her elf ears (they were made by a small Japanese dealer years ago), and she's just how I imagined. These are pretty much the only clothes I have that fit her for now, but hopefully we'll get some more stuff soon!

I have another update to share, this time for my Rarafi:
 

She was looking very neglected, her haircut wasn't the best, and on top of that I managed to break the frame of her Obitsu body 😓 After modding Lost Angels Reika and being so pleased with the result, I was in the mood to alter my other dolls, so I decided to get Rarafi an upgrade in the hopes it would encourage me to play with her more. A while ago, I found this Japanese dealer who made custom large busts for Obitsu 24 - so after repairing her spine with Milliput, it was time to put in an order with FromJapan!  🎉 

After a short wait, her upgrade arrived and she looks so adorable with it 💘 installation was pretty simple and the colour match is great. I'd definitely recommend this optional part to anyone like me, who likes doing random custom things with their dolls. Yes, they are squishy and made of the same material as the soft Obitsu 24 torso. I have put the images under a cut and censored them as the bust is very detailed :')

I also cut her hair shorter and gave it a boil wash and I think it looks so much better now~ of course finding clothes that fit will be a challenge but I have her dressed in yukata for now and it works perfectly. 🌸 Hopefully I can take some proper photos of her new look soon 🌱

Snow walk with Reika ❄️ 

I took these with my phone - for some reason, there are certain dolls I really struggle to photograph well with my camera, and Reika is one of them! Also, weather where I live has been very windy and wet, which makes it super hard to set up good camera shots...but, I feel like this is a good thing, because it will encourage me to try and take better phone photos :')

Thank you! Yeah, it's definitely a very sexy body, it gives her a lot of character! 

So...this happened 💀 I somehow won 7 Etoko-Chans for a bargain price at auction, they're in horrible condition but that's part of the fun as I get to restore them, right? 😬

 

I only want the purple and one blue haired gal, the others will be looking for new homes after being cleaned. I will be re-bodying mine too, I think they could do with something really pretty and with some personality to match those cute faces, I feel like a curvy Qz or even a Pureneemo Emotion would be really cute, due to the flexibility! But that'll come later, cross your fingers for me that they're all cleanable and salvageable! 

 

I Would be Quite Interested in These Three; They'd Serve Very Well for a Pair of Customs that i have in Mind~
