What games are you playing?

I remembered that I started Jack Jeanne like half a year ago, so I picked that up again.

And I also started playing Sonic Frontiers, I missed playing good Sonic games, even though I call myself a fan of the series I hadn't gotten around to play much of it lately.

I'm playing Nikki since the release day and absolutely loving it! It's gonna be a long-haul comfort game for me for sure. It's also making me want to get new nice clothes for my dolls and myself.. They really went above and beyond with the details of the clothes. I can't wait for housing and decoration to be released too.

I don't mind the monetization/gacha but am a little sad there are some outfits that can only be gotten through cash, as opposed to HSR where you can just save up and wait for banner re-runs whenever.

But the game is kind of like what if you took a 3d platforming collectathon, and stuck it in a blender with Animal Crossing, the Atelier games, and Style Saavy.

Otherwise, I'm playing Star Rail, as mentioned, and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.  Absolutely LOVE DQ3 HD-2D.

 

I've also been playing every day since release and liking it a lot. The exploration is so comfy and there's so much to do. The story was also nice.

Just a heads up that Hatsune Miku is the surprise headliner for the latest update to Fortnite.

Pic somewhat related. There are two skin packs featuring Miku. One is classic Miku and the other has Neko Miku. There's a few Miku classic tracks too, including OO EE OO.

Next task is to 3D print Miku a games controller.

I like how Allen grew on me. I'm about to start FF10

I am trapped in 100Line hell(heaven). A visual novel/SRPG game with literally 100 endings, I am at 44 endings so far and I absolutely adore it.

I don't know if it's that exciting but Kirika looks fabulous in it. In parts of the story you can play as her.

It's a pretty old game now but works fine on my PS5.

Idk if there is any Yakuza fan out here, but I just got all achievements in the Pirate one and also am slowly building a Majima cosplay doll<3 hopefully he will be ready by the end of this year

Lately I've been hooked on a silly word game called Sternly Worded Adventures.  You attack enemies by spelling words.

I'm also still playing Infinity Nikki! Absolutely love this game, and it's fun to make outfits that I might use for doll ideas.

I've been playing Phasmophobia with some IRL friends a couple of nights a week lately! It's a fun way to wind down with my fellow terminal idiots (affectionate).

I flattened my ACNH island earlier this spring with the intention to completely overhaul it, but I think I'm going to clear out what I've already done and let it sit in stasis until the 3.0 update drops in January. It's my forever island (literally my release day island), so it's not like there's any pressure to finish it again just yet!

I need to pick up Metaphor RE: Fantazio again. I got through the first tutorial dungeon and promptly realized it was going to require a greater amount of time and energy devotion than I was going to be able to give it at the time, but now that I'm done with grad school, I should really get back into it. (Also Hades II and Cult of the Lamb and Baldur's Gate 3...)

Currently bouncing between The Outlast Trials and Borderlands 4

I admit I've been pretty disappointed with Borderlands 4, even though I finally caved and bought a PS5 just to play it... 😭 The characters and story are just very bland, definitely not what I expect going into a Borderlands game. It feels like they got too many complaints that Borderlands 3 was "too annoying" so instead they made everything too bland. 

I've also been teetering on the edge of caving and buying Pokemon ZA, but everything I've seen online is saying it's not worth it. 🥲 But I want my fire monke....

currently I have been playing Stardew valley and potion craft, I'm super into cozy games atm but im really wanting to replay resident evil village soon!

Okage: Shadow King, originally for the PS2 but I'm playing it on the PS4.

Strange Antiquties! I loved Strange Horticulture, I'm not sure what genre these style of games are but I feel like they were made in a lab for me.

Still playing Fortnite. There's one of our own appearing in it soon...
