Heh, I'm really not sure what Sakura would do if I got another MDD.

Looks like I need to update yet again. Seems this year is a record for me in DD adoptions, I've added 16 girls to my family in 2017 alone.

 

Anyways, here's my newest additions!

 

Number 54 is Moonlight, a Smartdoll in Cocoa skin. I fell for her way back in March of this year when I saw her in person at Dannys store. I was planning on getting her for my B-day this year but the thing with Otakusan came up and I wound up adopting 3 of his girls instead. Then my buddy Ed was going to Japan in September so I figured I'd have him pick me one up while he was there to save me some money on shipping. But 2 weeks before he was to be there, Danny made the announcement that the cocoa colored skin was getting changed and that he only had a few Moonlights left in that color. Once they were gone, that would be it.

 

Since I didn't like his new skin tone for her, I jumped and had to order her before Ed went to Japan. And it's a good thing I did because 3 days after I ordered her, I read online that she was now out of stock.

 

So when she arrived, I was extremely happy with her as she was the version I wanted. Her name will get changed eventually but I don't know what it will be just yet.

Next up was a double adoption. My sister owns 2 DD girls that I got her a while ago. Both are 04 heads on DD2 bodies with the M-bust. She named her first one Tsubaki and the twin Aoki. Unfortunately, she never did much with them and I always felt bad that those 2 were always in the same clothes and in the same spot whenever I saw them.

 

So I finally broke down and asked my sister if I could buy them from her and she was super happy that I asked. She felt bad for neglecting them and was excited that they would have somewhere fun to live and have loads of clothing and sisters to play with.

I had to change Tsubaki's name because I already have a girl with that name. So she became Tsuki in order to better match her sisters name and to pay homage to her original name. Tsuki is on the left and Aoki is on the right.

 

Their faceups were done by Eblktty quite a while ago. My sister liked the idea of little star shaped birthmarks for the girls so she had those added.

I changed the wigs on both girls and the eyes on Aoki. I think the new look makes them seem more spunky and outgoing than before.

 

Number 57 is another Smartdoll. She has a bit of a long backstory on how I got her and how she came to be. I only have one crummy photo of her right now so once I do some proper pics of her, I'll do an intro for her and explain how I got her then. For now, just know that she's a gorgeous girl and I'm happy to own her. Say hello to Kurenai!

Numbers 58 and 59 are a pair of girls I recently adopted from my friend here on the forums, MrFjmg03. I've actually adopted 2 other girls from him in the past so when he approached me about adopting 2 more, I was happy to hear it.

 

Here's Lotus and Tangerine!

Lotus is a DDh10 head in SWS on a DDdy3 body and Tangerine is an 03 head in NS on a DDdy3. Both girls are super pretty but I do feel the need for a couple of changes.

Tangerine will have her name changed.... maybe to Tasha.... or Natasha. And she will get a little bit of a cleanup for her face. Lotus will keep her name but her eyes, wig and face up will be changed to become the slightly older sister to my other DDH10 head MDD Luna. Lotus will be in her teens and be quite the layabout. Always sleepy, always napping and wearing loose, comfy clothing. I think it will work out well!

So it looks like I did actually hit 60 by the end of 2017..... I just never updated about it.

 

Number 60 is Sakaki. She's a custom 03 head painted by Subaru. I own two heads painted by Subaru already so adding another one was an easy sell.

She's named after my favorite character in the manga/anime "Azumanga Daioh". She's quiet, good at sports and loves small cute things, especially cats.

Her wig is the default one from Ranka Lee. I've had this for a long time but it never worked on any other girls I have. But when Sakaki arrived and I tried it on her, it was a perfect fit in my eyes. Sakaki uses the Yoko Littner DDdy body. I had one here as a spare parts body for my Yoko but I did repairs on it ( it was purchased damaged for a good price ) and gave it to her instead of leaving it as parts.

Number 62 is a girl I've been wanting for quite a while but due to her sometimes crazy aftermarket prices, I didn't think I would wind up owning. Luckily I was finally able to adopt a Cirno!

But I got lucky when someone here on the Marketplace put her up for adoption in various pieces parts. I was able to make a deal for her head, eyes and outfits. All I needed was an MDD body for her.

Number 63 is kind of a surprise buy for me since I normally don't go after just heads. But once I saw this beautiful girl up for sale, I just had to make her mine. I named her Raven.

She's a NS 01 head MDD girl named Medee. I got her from my friend Patty. It seems she wasn't getting the attention she needed so I was asked to adopt her and of course I couldn't say no.

I changed her name to Machii and will be swapping out her wig for another longer one. She will keep her pretty blue eyes tho. She's getting a new face up from Eblktty and that will be revealed later today in her intro thread over in the photo stories area so keep an eye out for it!

I also need to set aside money to upgrade some of my MDD sized girls to the newer and nicer MDD3 body. I'm not as happy with the Obitsu 40cm bodies as I used to be so I want to start swapping over those girls to the MDD3 bodies this year.

My number 65 girl came to me from a friend on Facebook. I saw her adorable self for sale there and immediately fell for her cute looks.

Her name is Kiriko. She came with that name and I liked it so she kept it. She's an adventurous girl who likes being outside but she prefers keeping to herself. She doesn't have a ton of friends but the ones she does have, she treasures dearly and shares everything with.

Next up is another android girl! Seems I have a thing for them huh? Anyway, she's my 67th girl and her name is Winnie.

Winnie is actually a Natsuki head that's been repainted. I bought just her head from a friend at a local doll meet. When I got her, she had been wiped and so she needed a faceup. I had no preset plans for her character so I gave her to Eblktty and told her to just make her pretty.

Ebl had the idea to make her an android because she found some really cool eyes for her along with a matching Volks wig. She went from there and I got an adorable new robot girl!

You can see she has exposed circuitry just like Midori does, as well as the same earrings. Midori uses silver accents while Winnie uses shiny gold accents.

I've always wanted some Yoko sisters or twins so when LadyAoi here on the forums had this head up for sale, I jumped at the chance to adopt her.

I did have a spare Yoko DDdy body for her but I decided to go with the younger sister look for her. She's on a DDS L-bust body and uses Volks eyes with a Smartdoll Mirai medium length wig.

Her name is Cheryl and she is one of the original DD2 bodied girls.

She is a WS 06 head that has been modded and painted by Eblktty. She is on an original WS MDD body. And her name is Isla.

Yep! There were only TWO WS MDD girls released by Volks and NO spare part were ever released like different hand poses and such. Finding them now is a little hard and since they're the old style bodies, they are usually in bad shape and floppy as heck. And the one I have has started to change color from white to an odd shade of very light green in places.

It can be hard to make time for them all but I have a system where I have one girl with me every night while I watch TV or play around online. I change their clothes, check them for stains, brush their hair and make sure they're doing alright. That way they each get 3 or 4 hours with me all by themselves.

 

And thanks about my android girls! I really love how different they are from others of their kind.

Funny you mention that. I was going to do a single picture with ALL my girls in it over the holidays but the day before I planned to do that, I threw my back out. So I could barely walk for the next 2 days after that, much less get all the girls together. But I plan to get one of them soon! I'll definitely share here once I do.

Last time I updated here I left off with girl number 71. Looks like I'm behind again. Let's fix that okay?

 

2018 was a big year for adoptions for me. It seems every time I turned around, there was another pretty girl I either couldn't live without or that needed to be saved/repaired/given another chance on life. Being on Facebook for the first time also didn't make things easier to say no either. Luckily, I was working more overtime at my job and I also got a healthy raise early on so I had more money to go into my favorite hobby!

 

So let's meet the rest of my new girls!

 

First up we have girl number 72, Hana! In these pics she's dressed as a witch for Halloween.

Hana is an 09 head on a DD2 L-bust body. The body was originally bought cheap to be spare parts but I did some repairs to it and cleaned it up so she could use it instead.

I bought Hana's head as part of a larger bundle a few months before she was actually finished/completed on 10-11-18. She was painted by Eblktty for another local doll owner here in SC but she and her owner just couldn't bond.

Everyone has seen "Her Imminence" in full regalia so now it's time for her to get into the casual clothing for day to day wear. I let her choose clothes and she went WAY pinker than I thought.

This is indeed the brand new Saber so she is on the new F3 frame inside a DDS S-bust setup. Altho I'm not really a fan of the S-bust, I don't want to change it up on her so she will stay default.

This version of Saber is a lot quieter than my other versions. She keeps to herself for the most part but seems to be drawn to my Rin Tousaka and her friends.

Nas and Terri used to belong to Eblktty. She decided she needed to trim down her family and focus on certain characters that she writes stories for so these two needed a new home. I'd been a fan of Nas for years so I jumped at the chance to adopt her.

Nas is a very heavily repaired and modded 01 head. She was a rescue when Eblktty got her and has had many repaints and fixes over the years. She is on an Obitsu 40cm body.

As most everyone knows, I like the grumpy girls. Nas is definitely grumpy and with good reasons. She used to be a full sized girl but had some type of accident and was shrunk down to MDD size. And as a side effect, she can no longer curse. When she tries to, jibberish comes out instead. XD Nas is also an active shoe fanatic, almost as much as Sprout. Needless to say, she and Sprout are now good friends and have long chats about footwear. LOL

I was very happy to adopt Nas but adopting Terri along with Nas was a surprise. Thanks to their backstories and Eblktty's insistence of these two not being separated, I was basically strong armed into buying them both at the same time. Luckily, Ebl understood she was forcing me into this so she made me the "deal I couldn't refuse" for the pair. Terri and Nas came home on 10-20-18.

 

Terri is an 09 head on an Obitsu 48cm body with the large bust.

Originally, Terri was named Panda. She is an adult but just short. She used to be an arms dealer and was in business with Nas. During one deal, things went south and her right eye was lost. So she had a cybernetic version installed that gives her amazing night vision, limited x-ray abilities and also thermal imaging.

She comes as you see her here on the MDD S-bust body. Her wig is also default but her previous owner changed her default eyes out to these green ones.

Rena belonged to a couple that used to live here locally but had to move away. Rena was well taken care of and loved but she just didn't fit in with her owners future plans for the family. I was approached by them and asked if I would like to adopt Rena from them so that she would go someplace where she would be taken care of and spoiled. I was interested but not sure since I already have so many 01 head girls but they sent along everything they had for her as a package deal with an extremely good price so I had to say yes. I couldn't turn down good friends or a cute girl that needed a home.

Rena is pretty bubbly and happy. She gets along well with all her MDD sized sisters and seems to be into tech and social medias. Rei gave her a cell phone so she can stay up to date on her accounts.

 

 

And now for another quite special girl, my number 77 girl Yui!

Remember Hana up top? She was included in the bundle deal I got Yui in. Yui was owned by the same local doll friend as Hana. Both girls were painted by Eblktty but at separate times. My Yui is the Yui from K-On! She came to me blank with the default face up wiped off. Of course I had her painted up by Ebl.

As in one of my favorite animes, Fullmetal Alchemist, my little Yui has automail. Her left hand and leg have been lost in an accident she won't talk about and were replaced with automail. This body was modded and painted by Eblktty and is one of the most amazing things I've seen as far as DD mods go. When I saw it go up for sale within the group, I couldn't let it go.... it was way too cool. Ebl did all the work on the leg herself. I added the hand afterwards. It's from the Fate Tesstarossa default armor setup.

We're in the home stretch now! At 78 we have only my second male doll ever. I did a big thread on how he came to me here:

Kokorin is an 04 head that was heavily modded and repaired. He is on the Obitsu 55cm male body.

As you can see, he is the older brother to my cat girls Kiririn and Kikirin. They drive him crazy and that shows with his pouty expression.

He is one of two characters I have with heterochromia. For him, it shows his relation to his sisters by having similar colors to each of them.

Korin ( his nickname ) likes his sisters just fine but as seen here, they are always on top of him playing and messing about. He's a fun guy, enjoys cat naps and treats, will do anything for his sisters and is loyal beyond compare. He was the 2nd doll that was completed at the doll meet on 10-27-18.

And now I present the 3rd doll to be adopted/completed at that fateful doll meet on 10-27-18! Her name is Chloe and she is my number 79!

Chloe was also up for adoption at this meet and I couldn't say no to her..... mainly because she was a STEAL of a price and needed some work. You know me and project girls....

She is an 06 head in SWS on a SWS DDdy body. She's only the 3rd SWS girl I own.

Her previous owner mainly owns resins but she wanted to try her hand at vinyls. She painted Chloe herself but was not happy with how she turned out. It's a cute enough face up but it will definitely get redone this year by Eblktty so she can match the rest of the family and look her best.

Chloe really hasn't spoken up to me about who she is yet. She will probably keep the wig but I am unsure about the eyes. Chloe really hasn't spoken up to me about who she is yet. Chloe seems to be kind of quiet but I see her mixing well with her other DDdy sisters. She hasn't shown any particular style interests other than liking pretty lingerie. Maybe I need to let Manami help her in that area.

 

 

Last, but not least, we have number 80! EIGHTY. I need serious help here.

She has her default face up but I changed her eyes out as well as her wig.

I'm not 100% sure this is her forever wig but it seems to work for her for now.

I was unsure of who she would be before she arrived on 11-23-18 but once I had her on a body, she immediately let me know that she's an idol.

She loves fashion and is at home in front of people. She's also quite sassy and outgoing. I put her on a DD3 body with the L-bust but I am thinking she will probably go down a size to the M-bust so that she will fit better into more idol and Miku styled outfits.

I was going off memory and as usual, it didn't go smoothly. Hana is indeed an 09 head, just like Terri is. I went back and fixed my error, thanks for pointing that out.

Thank you very much! Hana was a surprise to me because I really didn't expect to have her look like she does now. I literally tried EVERY wig I had on her and this one was the last one in the box. As soon as it was on her, I knew it was right. As for her eyes, she had another set in her when I got her and Ebl had made those too. But Ebl pointed out that this other set of eyes I got with Hana's head was made specifically for her so I figured why not try them out? I put them in and BAM! Hana was in the house.

 

I also think Yui is amazing. Her whole look and style just scream awesome to me.

 

And yes, we must get Moe and Miku together! They will either hit it off immediately or try and kill each other.

Heh, I wrote the reply below before noticing I have her OLD pics in here and not her new updated ones. Chloe got herself a brand new face up! And she is so perfectly adorable! You'll see her soon, I promise.

 

With her new face now, Chloe is a very quiet and shy girl..... she seems to spook easily. So far she's buddied up with Elizabeth who is quiet, a bit of a scaredy cat and cute but way more outgoing and oblivious/innocent. Chloe seems to like singing, she hums to herself and to Elizabeth so maybe she'll open up soon and we can see what she's really like. But I'm not getting a haughty vibe from her at all. Here's a quick preview of the new Chloe.

Well, since noone else has put anything here, I guess I'll start!

 

I have three wonderful daughters and I'll list them in order of adoption.

 

 

So that is my family up to now. I think I am going to try for a DDS body and custom head later next year but I am not positive yet. For now, these three keep me super busy but I do love them all.

Ha ha ha! This really made me laugh. I really did think that I'd never have more than just a few girls in the beginning! But now I know different.... my house is the Wayward Home for Lost Dollies and I'm fine with that.
