Well, my frankendoll is taking form.

Many Angel Philia bust and a H2 hip bought on FaithZ, an internal frame neck to hip, a pair of C tattoo thighs, another backbone, just in case XD, and a pair of obitsu 50 legs on their way.

I have an Ami head, a pair of 50-04 obitsu heads and still hunting for a Lena and/or... AND a Yuuna/Chiemi head.

Feet and hands no problem.

 

Now I only need a pair of arms... mumble. Some other necks and some extra wrists. I'll patiently wait.

 

 

But while I'm at it, let's go with some photo of my Marie, with Obitsu 50-04 head! So, Marie no more... Hanako... maybe? I love the name Hanako.

 

(and first time I post some photos since the change of forum... hope everything works fine...)

 

In the morning, dressing the shirt of her man. It still has his scent...

 

Optional Parts: Obitsu50-04 head Whitey custom face-up (Obitsu), flat feet.
Wig: Airy wave white - L size (Himekazura)
Dress and accessories: white shirt - DD size (Littlewonder Wardrobe), strawberry pants - SD size (unknown brand), red glasses - SD size (unknown brand), gold glasses - MSD size (unknown brand)

 

The head is bigger than Marie's, I like the anime proportions that comes out. A new wig was necessary, but at least I can finally use these glasses, too big for normal Pink Drops.

 

Well, that's actually pretty simple to post images pasting addresses and to resize them with a double click!

Minor fixes.

I still think it's so cool that there are so many different Obitsu parts across their related doll lines! So many choices! So many looks!

Yeah, it's amazing for customization.

 

The only downside is that basic Obitsu doll have zero blushing, and I'm no good with coloring... so hands and feet are without colored nails and the legs without gradient.

Lately even AngelPhilia/Pink drops lack the extra blushing of the first models... or at least the soft parts are very poor in that department compared to the "hard" parts.

I'm browsing FaithZ and I just discovered that the new Elle has a 50-04 head (20mm eyes) like the one I've used up here XD (with another custom faceup obviously).

Interesting...

 

 

Today on Mandarake I've seen some bodies (new, no heads) for selling.

I don't like them particularly, expecially the hip. Where they came from? The hip in particular, whit this shape and no intimate details, seems to me more Obitsu than PinkDrops...

It's the muscular body used by some of the early Yamato/VMF girls, so it's actually a quite old body rather than a new one.

Yes it's the first VMF50 body ever released. Lynn Minmay was the first VMF50 that started it all and she used an Obitsu 50 body. The 2nd VMF50 was Kanu Unchoo and a special muscular body (Type B) was designed for her. Later Miu was released with this body, then a brown skin version. This body is rarely released. Personally I LOVE it, I love the shapes. I need to take more photos of it! Here is some old photos I took with a SQLab head (sorry for the bad quality 😞)

Mmmh so I was thinking right when this boby gave me the old vmf50 feel. the first model I've thought about was Kanu indeed, but I didn't recall such a level of details.

Mmmh Kiara, without doubt, is a difficult client. The wig is very beautiful, the dress too, but even if is "open"-type on the chest, like a yukata (but with less fabric to play with), I fear it'll have many difficult to contain all the exuberance of Kiara. Only time will tell.

I've bought for Marie a set of extra busts only to fit her more dresses.

Welp Kiara finally arrived today! Now to begin the mission of finding her clothes.  She only has one blemish on one of her breasts, but I imagine that proper stuffing will fix that and push the indentation back out? Or is there another way?  https://imgur.com/TcI8MFD

Heat her with a hair dryer from 10-20 cm and any indent will return to the original form in less than a minute.

 

I have to point Marie's bottom and thights with an hair dryer every time I took her out of the box. XD

I can't see the blemish in your picture, but if it's a dent (possibly from being squished in a box too long) try heating with with a hair dryer like Testament said. Vinyl has a bit of a memory as to the shape it was molded. Heating (and maybe a little bit of massaging to push it out) should get it to return to its original shape. You will probably want a pair of gloves for the procedure. The vinyl will get hotter than you want to touch. Don't worry about over heating. You can't get the vinyl hot enough with a hair dryer. You can only damage the vinyl if you touch the business end of the dryer to the vinyl. Then it might burn.

Try lining the box with a cushion of foam or a soft, folded towel. It keeps my soft-skin H-bodied girls free of flat areas, even when they've been lying around on their fat butts for weeks on end.

So then stuffing the Angel Philia dolls really is a thing?  I've only seen one youtube video of someone doing it.  It won't hurt the doll?

How can cotton or other soft materials put inside torso/abdomen/thighs damage the doll?

 

 

Anyway, Obitsu 50 legs arrived today! BUT... unfortunately right ankle broke.

So now I'm 2 arms AND an ankle away from second angel philia.

 

BTW they're re-releasing Yuuna! (on FaithZ) Updated with soft skin arms and heel feet instead of normal ones.

"Stuffing" only applies to the Soft Skin versions.

I recommend polyester fiber fill, the material commonly used in quilting.

It doesn't hurt the dolls at all as long as you don't pack the stuffing in too tight. Stuffing of Soft Skins is recommended by the original sellers.
