1/6 scale vinyl TinyFox Dolls!

So I was looking through the MACOCO body's listing again. And apparently it's an entirely different body from the original 1/4s after all, it's slightly wider with a thicker and shorter neck compared to the original 1/4 with different measurements across the whole body save for the length of the limbs.

This means that the heads and bust parts from the original 1/4s aren't compatible with the MACOCO body, and Tinyfox will have to manufacture more heads to go with MACOCO specifically, and possible bust option parts though I'm currently having doubts about that given how limited their stock and options have been recently due to manufacturing complications. 

I think the MACOCO heads might be able to fit the original 1/4s but there might be a slight bobble head effect since Tinyfox heads are designed to fit snugly on the bodies they're meant to go with, and MACOCO heads come wider with a neck hole made to accommodate a neck a centimeter wider than the original 1/4, not to mention the original 1/4's neck being thinner and longer. But we'll need pics to tell for sure.

On another note, does anyone have both the tinyfox 1/4 L bust on hand along with an MDD L bust for comparison?

I'm very happy to see that the MACOCO body is actually different from the original 1/4 line. My hype for this line is definitely back! The original girl they used to tease the line isn't apart of the first trio but I hope to see her released soon! 

I can't wait to see if I can hyrbid between the og 1/4 bodies and the macoco ones!

LOL I started out with resin BJD and actually prefer the possibility of the Dollzone resin body. When I saw the connector piece inside the Tinyfox 1/6 head, I knew a resin body would work. The connector piece even has grooves so the S hook on a resin body sits in the grooves. 

I got my first tiny fox doll this last week, and at first I wasn’t sure about her, as I expected more of the traditional soft squishy vinyl, but she was not that, she was solid. But the more time I spend with her the more I am just in love with her. Going to get her new clothes and some new eyes soon. 
she’s a Kiki and still needs a name. 

Has anyone gotten the new 1/6 body yet? I'm curious to see reviews about its pose-ability!

Oh man, thanks for these videos! It's getting me excited for my own fox girl. Hopefully New Clover Singing gets their stock soon! Of course, my poor fox girl will have to spend some time as a model/dress form for Paimon rather than as herself lolol

The knees may not be double jointed, but knees and hips do still bend more than the 90 degrees Smart Dolls are stuck at lololol

Wait the new 1/6 doesn't have double jointed knees? I could've sworn it did based off how the knees look like from the back!

Can someone confirm whether or not the new 1/6 has double-jointed knees or not? Now I'm afraid I should've looked for the old 1/6 body...

Funny thing is: I only ordered from the international site because I wasn't aware they were being sold on other sites - my first contact with Tinyfox was through japanese doll collectors talking about them on twitter 😅

Totally fair! I'm glad we have better options for sure, their shipping price is insane. But Liluta did arrive quikcly and in perfect condition. 

I was just worried Liluta was going to sell out because NCS cancelled a bunch of orders. But then JDL popped up after I ordered directly with TF... Oops.

I swear I searched twice to find other shops other than NCS before ordering, I'm not sure why JDL didn't come up. Maybe it was the week she started offering TF, I have no idea. And my TaoBao account won't work :'<

My fox girl shipped out from the Taobao warehouse (she got a bit delayed while I was waiting for other stuff to consolidate) and has landed in California already, so hopefully I have her in-hand in about a week! I'm really excited for her ♥

Anime action figures usually have single joints for their elbows and knees. If engineered right you can get some pretty good motion out of them.

These dolls are adorable.  Maybe someday...!  I almost caved to order one of the frogs, but managed to resist.
