Dere is a suffix for a type of character trope in anime and manga, referring to the way a character acts before and after character growth (usually by falling in love). If you see your doll as a character, what dere category would they fall in to? Here's the dere wiki for help I guess. There's a lot of dere types, most of them being very niche, but I still thought this would be an interesting question to ask people who see their dolls more as characters than dolls For example, I think my doll, Vivian, is probably a huge tsundere (while I didn't style her hair that way, she's even got the twintails to boot!). She probably starts off rather mean when meeting someone new, but grows close and sweet as they gain her trust. I would post pictures but I need to build up my rapport first ^_< what's your dolls' dere type?

Finally, after waiting for months, I finally got Marin! Her face-up is so gorgeous, DOLK never disappoints with their character dolls! I would love to keep her box, but my studio is already suffering from my collection...

I haven't seen a "box opening" area, so I hope its okay to post this here. I've wanted her ever since I first saw her back in 2014. She is my very first vinyl doll! Introducing Hatsune Miku! Hatsune Miku is home! by Ryuichi Sakuma, on Flickr Ryu

I may be using a proxy service to get myself a Dollfie Dream boy through the Dream Choice, The character im thinking about using for this doll is Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler. I was just wondering what head sculpt would look best for him? Also any websites that sell victorian outfits for dolls?

I didn’t think I’d be posting again so soon but I was lucky enough to find a good deal on a MDD body for a floating head I had on YAJ! I wasn’t sure what I would do with her at first but then I got the idea to shell her as one of my favorite characters from Madoka Magica! I recently saw someone’s adorable Cardcaptor Sakura doll and wanted my own magical girl. I also tried my hand at modding my floating head’s face up. I’m not thrilled so I may try again. I have a few other changes to make but I’m rather happy at how she turned out. I hope you enjoy!

My first post since the forum changed ... A month ago I received my 3rd character dolls from the anime : '' Is the order a rabbit ? '' ,. As we moved house last fall and I'm still working on my new studio , I haven't had the chance to open the 2 first ones but I was too excited to see Chino , I opened her box right away . I really love here , she is so cute . Her body is an Obitsu 45 cm ...even if they say it is Azone , I know what an Obitsu body looks like 😉 My girls were happy to welcome her , but she was a little shy ^_^ I'm glad the forum is more easy to use now . I'll try to post regularly here too . Salica

Looks like we might be getting those SmD Star Wars dolls, and possibly Marvel dolls as well! Which would you want to see? (Some people on instagram are asking for Disney princesses as well, but I assume since Volks is already doing that and he didn't mention doing normal Disney characters that's off the table for now.)
