I've been down this rabbit hole, and the answer is: mostly no. The proportions of these bodies don't make up for the fact that these dolls are of a smaller scale. Compared to these, a DDS has... A much longer torso. Girthy arms, broader shoulders, broader neck. This is overlooked. Longer legs. Some of the smaller clothes made for the small bust may work, but there's so much more surface area in a DDS that the clothes just don't work all that great on 1/4 scales, no matter how curvy they are. What clothes fit on Azone 45cm? Your best bet is MDD and DDP clothing. The fit will be similar to MDD (M) rather than MDD (S), so watch out on tight fitting garments made specifically for the S bust. Tops will run short, MDD/MSD have a higher waist, so the fit might be weird on more tailored outfits. Obitsu 48/50 clothes can sometimes work, but the sleeves will be too long, and bottoms can also look a little too big. What tops fit on 48-50cm dolls? 1) Tops on DDP MDD tops generally work, but some might run short. Beware of overalls and similar items - the DDP's longer torso will be too long for these (!). Azone 45 tops fit great, but there aren't many options. It's hit and miss with Azone 48-50 tops. Dresses and one-piece outfits can look good. For everyday clothing, it depends. AZO2 tops are generally too loose unless that's what you're going for. (An AZO2 sailor top on DDP. On an older character, this might work better. But with Mochi, it looks more like she's trying on Mai's clothes. 😆) 2) Tops on Small/Medium Busts (Obitsu S/M, smaller AZO2 and Angel Philia) On normal sized busts, you have many options. Azone tops fit the best. Short Sleeves - Many MDD tops will fit, but the hem may be short Long Sleeves - Tops designed for Obitsu & Azone will fit the best. Long-sleeved MDD/DDP tops will be too short in the sleeves and may run short in the torso. Besides Azone, LittleWonder carries tops made specifically for Obitsu. (Difference in sleeve length between MDD and Obitsu tops) 3) Tops on Large Busts (Obitsu L, larger AZO2 and Angel Philia) Your options are limited since these sizes are too big for most MDD-sized clothing and not sized properly for SD & DD-sized clothing. Most clothing that fits well will be from Azone's AZO2 line. Baggy MDD clothing can sometimes work. LittleWonder also makes clothing for this size. Some DD clothing may fit acceptably if it's sized for SS/S, but tops will run long and feel oversized. What bottoms fit on 48-50cm dolls? 1) Bottoms on DDP MDD/MSD skirts fit well but will run short. Azone skirts will fit OK but may feel a little oversized because the DDP's legs are skinny. AZO2 skirts fall down or sit too low to look right. (Same skirt on DDP vs. MDD) MDD shorts don't fit. You can slip them on with much effort, but buttoning them shut is a different story. (TTYA shorts for MSD. Very tight to slip on. Can't button it shut, and the seam around the crotch area is stressed. Can't sit properly.) (Nine9 ones were easy to slip on, but they took a lot of force to button shut. She can't sit, but it looks good standing up. The area where the top overlaps the shorts can look bulgy.) 2) Bottoms on Obitsu 48/50 Most MSD/MDD skirts fit but will run short. Azone skirts will fit the best. LittleWonder makes a line of compatible skirts specifically for Obitsu in varying lengths (mini, mid, long). Some MDD shorts fit, but I've found that getting them past the legs is a challenge. Nine9 and TTYA make shorts, but between the two, I've had better luck getting the Nine9 ones up and less luck with the TTYA denim ones. 3) Bottoms on Angel Philia-C Angel Philia C has thicker legs but a similar hip to DDP and Azone 45. They'll fit into most MSD/MDD skirts, but they'll sit higher and run even shorter than on O48-50. No shorts will fit on AP-C. MDD shorts won't pass through the legs unless they're designed for Mochiashi, but DD shorts will be oversized. If your girl wants to wear shorts, avoid this size. 4) Bottoms on AZO2 / Angel Philia H or I Shorts The Azone denim shorts, while simple, are cheap, easy to find and fit well due to their elasticity. TTYA or Nine9 make nice pairs, but they can run tight on Angel Philia. They fit fine on AZO2. Skirts AZO2 skirts fit the best. They slip up the legs and are just the right waist size. DD and SD skirts will feel out of scale. SD ones are even worse in that they'll sit low. I don't recommend MDD or non-AZO2 Azone skirts. Getting them past the legs is tough. They'll be micro-mini length unless that's what you're after. What shoes fit on Obitsu 45-50cm? Just get Volks MDD shoes. Obitsu feet are advertised as 6cm in size vs 5cm for MDD and 5.5cm for DDP. However, I find that Azone-made shoes run small, despite being made for Obitsu feet. Every pair of Volks MDD shoes I've gotten fits well, especially those that are advertised as fitting both DDP & Mochiashi feet. Non-Volks Shoes made for MDD are hit and miss. (I check the fit on Azone, Volks and other shoes in a dedicated post) Measurements Disclaimer: These measurements were pulled from a mix of sources + my own measurements as a basis for comparison. I don't guarantee their full accuracy. Volks MDD (f3 1.0) Hips: 18.5cm Waist: 13.5cm Bust: 15.5cm/17cm/18cm Arm Length: 12cm Thigh Circumference: 11cm (13cm for mochi) Azone 45 Hips: 21.0cm Waist: 14.0cm Bust: 17.5cm Arm Length: 13.5cm Thigh Circumference: ~12.5cm (estimate) Obitsu 48/50 Hips: 20.0cm Waist: 13.0cm Bust (S/M/L): 17.0cm(?)/18.5cm/20.25cm Arm Length: 15cm Thigh Circumference: 12.8cm Azone AZO2 Hips: 23.5cm Waist: 14.0cm Bust (C/G/I): 18.75cm/22cm/23cm Arm Length: 15.5cm Thigh Circumference: 14.8cm Angel Philia Hips (H/C): 23.5cm/21.5cm Waist (H/C): 14.0cm/13.8cm Bust (H2/H/C5): 19cm(?)/20cm/21cm Arm Length: 15cm Thigh Circumference (H/C): 15.5cm/13.6cm AP torso numbers run 1cm higher due to a "thick" trunk but are shaped similar to Obitsu S/M/L busts. "C" torsos are close to O50 dimensions and wear most O50/MDD bottoms while "H" torsos wear DD bottoms like AZO2. Volks DDP Hips: 21.0cm Waist: 13.5cm Bust: 17.5cm Arm Length: 13.5cm <-- (This is MUCH shorter than the Obitsu, so watch out when buying long sleeve shirts that fit a DDP) Thigh Circumference: Similar to MDD 2.0 DDP vs MDD comparison photo - Arm length up to the wrist is about the same - Upper torso length is the same. Lower torso is significantly longer. Total torso is longer than Obitsu. - DDP is most similar to Azone 45 but with longer legs and a differently proportioned torso. - Foot size comparison Volks DDS Hips: 23.0cm Waist: 15cm Bust: 21.5cm (M) Arm Length: 16cm Thigh Circumference: 14.5cm

I tried the Mio Honda head on the MDD body just for fun and thought I'd share for anyone who's curious! Personally I think the head feels a little too mature for the body. Some might think it's more do-able with a wig though. The head also literally doesn't fit the body. The neck is way too loose. At the slightest movement it spins around like there's no tomorrow. I feel like you could stabilize the head with a cork or something but I didn't try it out. I think the head might look cute on a DDP or Obi50 body. I might try it out when I receive my DDP!

I am an avid (or rabid) doll collector, I have both vinyl dolls and resin dolls and porcelain doll… and plastic dolls, I love them all. i have 5.5 smart dolls, a Dollfie dream pretty, a tinyfox girl and about 30 others in the bjd category. I’m active in a number of FB groups and Instagram, debating opening a doll TikTok for the fun of it. So hi everyone!

I placed my order through Volks USA on a weekend, got her four days after!! So fast!!! I named her Bree! Now, my only struggle is where to find apparel for her size... I heard that apparel for Obitsu 50cm works for DDP?

Hello! Today i picked up my very first vinyl doll! After having bjds for almost 5 years i wanted to start with something new. Shes a Dollfie Dream Pretty Coron and i named her Mizuki. For my first vinyl i wanted to start with a basic set. However i would also like to start doing my own face-ups and perhaps in the future will atempt so on her... (lil question, what do i use to whipe the curent face clean with? I know so for bjds but vinyl is very new to me) Im very happy with her, but oh so scared to break her. Also compared to my bjds shes HUGE, i keep looking at her "holy shit...". So far i put her in a dress wich is too short but i dont hate it. I just want her to have some long sock or leggings. Also if you know where to buy clothes for DDP i will apreciate that alot :') Here are some pictures.

Hi all! I'm hoping to add a DDP to my collection sometime this year, but I'm wondering what hand options are available for the size? Do have their own unique hand size? Do they wear MDD hands or can they wear regular DD-sized hands with the correct wrist attachment? Thanks!
