Hello! It's been almost exactly 12 years (wow!) since I last posted here. But I guess you never truly leave, huh? Anyway, here is Ophelia! The creation of my beautiful, wonderful, delightful puppygirl has been a years-long process, she is a character of mine who has been with me for almost 11 years, as a light, a muse, an emotional tether. And now she's here in doll form! She started out as Volks original Asuna model, which is actually quite poetic as when she first coalesced back then, Ophelia had a lot of inspiration drawn from Asuna (and other sources too of course, as well as my own ideation.) I had initially embarked on the process of manifesting her in this way around three years ago, but life was fully in the way so I did not have the creativity nor the courage to do her justice. Trimming her wig was such a terrifying prospect, but my former hairstylist bestie gave me some tips last month to get it to the length I wanted (I cut off like 4 inches of hair) and to trim the bits next to her bangs. The back is a little uneven, but I'm still so proud of my work for the first time doing something like that. I may try to fashion her a tail with the leftover strands I kept, but that's another courageous endeavor for a later time. Also it took ages to find her the right ears, oh my goodness I did not realize how difficult it would be to find floppy puppy ears in the sea of all the cute pointy cat and fox ones (thank you to @minithecatdoll on etsy for those, also the source of her phone!) I have an outfit that'll be more 'her' ordered so I'm holding off on a longer photo session until then, but I couldn't not take a few now that she's effectively complete. Here she is on a pillow, and her keeping me company at work! ❤️

Decided to make a dedicated thread for this so I don't have to keep making new ones haha. I've got quite a few Dollfie-related projects in the making as of right now. NSFW tag because I like to do body blushing and there will almost certainly be naked dolls in the future. (In fact, I've got an Adyka body mod that I'll do a writeup for in the near future.) here's a photo I took on my potato phone as a doll tax :3. I've been a fan of Genshin Impact since launch so I decided to shell a couple characters from one of my favorite regions, Remuria. I did all of his clothes, faceup, eyes, and hair styling as well. I ended up taking a fair amount of liberties with the design, but I think he still turned out pretty nice. The Byzantine Empire is one of my favorite regions in terms of art and fashion so it was a blast to look for inspiration for this one!

Just finished my first bralette - I used the patterns from a Dollybird magazine and tried to adjust the measurements so it would fit Naru-rin but she's quite big so it was difficult to make it fit I'm still happy how it turned out and will get started on some matching underwear!

These orange wedge sandals are for Sailor Venus and where made by Zuru Mini Brands and came from one of the fashion series. While they fit Venus a little looser then I would like, they work. Removing doll heads is still a little nerve-racking for me, but I managed to do it. I discovered that the Liccarize doll bodies (on the left,) and the Bandai bodies (on right,) are actually very similar. No offence to those who like these kinds of doll bodies, but I personally think they are pretty crappy. I'm thankful that there are alternatives. The difference between the Bandai body and the Obitsu body is huge.

I was doing another outdoor photoshoot this evening, and the fireflies started coming out. I decided to set up Eva real fast and take a photo of her among the fireflies as they were lighting up. It's not a great photo, but you can see two fireflies to the left. I'm so happy I could get a photo of my beloved Eva like this If you get a red X, it's clickable!

It's been a little while since I did some doll stuff since I've been so sick this month. I've been getting better. Plus, today was the arrival of a wonderful City of Masters Studio piece I got secondhand, and the weather's pretty nice despite it being late winter. The scenery isn't summertime yet, but this is a beautiful knit bikini that will keep my beloved Jessica warm no matter what the weather's like. I decided to get some fresh air for these photos. The sun already went down behind the houses, but I got some nice sunlight regardless. Plus, it wasn't too much sun that it washed anything out. I really wanted to show off the bikini, and what a bikini it is! I only put it on Jessica really fast, but it fits pretty nicely. I could probably stand to tighten up the top a bit, but it was fine today. The bottoms are incredibly attractive. The back is cheeky like I always wanted in a bikini for Jessica. I'm incredibly happy about that. I've already redressed Jessica for an upcoming doll meet, but I'm looking forward to trying this bikini on her again. Jessica was feeling a bit too hot, so she needed to cool off a little. She bared one of her beautiful breasts for the camera. -

Did they ever offer S Busts in Super Whitey? Would the regular Whitey be a close enough Match to not be Bothersome? or should i just be Content with my Hunnie's currently Abundant Vital Life Supply? Hello! A little while ago I made the decision I wanted to have an MJD project alongside my BJD project. I want to shell my two characters- Licot and Terry- as AP with DDH ^^. This is so I can have Licot and Terry interact with each other easily without there being too extreme of a scale difference. I was inspired by http://xhslink.com/a/rVaE5bVlQzk5 , who posts pictures of their DDH/AP hybrids. I really like the idea of customizing a DDH as well, since I have peculiar taste. Right now I just have the beginnings of Terry, as well as Licot’s head. I’m planning on buying an AP I for Licot, but the recent tariffs on CN and HK parcels worries me about buying from FaithZ. However FaithZ usually buys extra dolls for after the preorder window closes, so I am hoping to buy Pink Drops Mieri around April. Here’s some pictures of Terry so far: She’s a Pink Drops Mikuru H-type body in Whitey, with the DDH-10 head in Semi-White. I’m slowly amassing AZO2 and other clothes for her. I have her wig on the way! And some shoes… socks… Here she is wearing Azone gym clothes.Here she is wearing Azone sukumizu. She now has H2 hip, but I accidentally bought tan 😭. I need to buy her a skin cover so she can wear dark clothes. I’m thinking of buying her C legs and maybe a C lower torso as well, so she appears a little thinner. Soooooo. What I decided I'll do, since I don't have a ton of images for my dolls to warrant separate galleries for each, I figure I'll put them all in one place so both Mayumi and Joo-si don't have to be in two diff places. I'm struggling to attach a resin “boy” part (it was sold as “Tommy’s special parts” on Quarantotto, which really cracked me up) to an Angel Philia I lower torso. I tried hot glue and it really didn’t work at all. Putty only worked if I used a lot (and it looked really ugly around the edges). I even tried E600, which worked for weeks until it came loose a few days ago. (Shockingly the E600 didn’t hurt the blushing on the vinyl torso which surprised me) I’m most likely going to try E600 again, but part of my initial problem was there isn’t a great way to clamp the pieces together… Any suggestions for the best adhesive to use or even if there’s a quick acting adhesive that pairs well with E600? Obviously I’m OK with something permanent 🙂, I just could use some ideas.

I like to photograph in monochrome (i post such things here). But the little ones also look good in colorful ones, that's why I'm opening this topic. You see Nina. She is lying lazily on the couch. She got the Carmen shirt from OnlyMonicaDollphotos. The glasses are specially made and a gift from T6_6061 (his Acc on Instagram) because Nina couldn't do much with Danny's modern reading aid. Sorry Danny, but some are just old school Here is Ruby when she was young and unbridled. The wrap shirt also comes from OMDp. Ruby loves it and it's one of the clothes she doesn't share with others. Mirai loves to show off in little skirts and dresses. This dress is also from OMDp.
