Hello I'm Roro! I just received my very first doll, Dollfie Dream Kaito, after admiring dolls from afar for many years. Finally decided to make the investment on Kaito as he has always been my favourite and most comforting character, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get involved and have a doll of my own. Even thought I have just gotten my first I am also interested in trying to customise another doll sometime when I have the funds and become more knowledgeable about how to do so. I am looking forward to interacting with all of you and admiring all of the lovely dolls here! 😄

Hey everyone, So today I discovered that my Miku dollfie's right thigh joint had snapped in half. With AX right around the corner, I'm trying to find a quick solution to get her back in decent shape and was wondering if any sites might have a replacement piece available? Pic related, it's the snapped joint and the piece that came off it. Her body is the DDIII body, by the way, that's probably very necessary because I don't want to get a part and find it doesn't fit, (though who does?) Much appreciated! Thanks!

I saw this post where this person puts spoons inside the thighs of the DDdy and AZO2. From my understanding, I believe its to prevent the thighs from popping out by filling up empty space. Has anyone tried this? If so, how did it go? (note: embed states the pictures are sensitive but its just images of the spoons and the inside of the thighs)

Hello everyone 😸 Thought I would start a pictures thread from my house and my little lot of resource gorging inhabitants. Or my little buddies as I have always seen-called them. ^-^ Never called them a family as such, more like companions as we journey these years we have together and adventures. I might post some stories in the stories threads from time to time, but they will be more like the day to day of their lives and lighter in feel. More able to stand on their own as a light one off tale, other than the now huge decade+ long universe they travel the timeline of. Those tales will probably stay on my little corner of the internet. Always very welcome to ask me questions of it though. ^^ I will post pics of their characters for fun and their general info here as time goes on. Here we have a Tara, Dee "clone" and a big Schrodinger. In a very much out of the forth wall clip. 😜 (They are usually in character and under the ice in Antarctica at a giant ancient alien city.) I suppose this is an update too to questions most gratefully answered in the body comparison thread. Hopefully going to "upgrade" this Dee from MDD to DDP with upgraded chest to keep her in age character. The chest arrived and the body is on the way! ^-^ yay! Will post pics of that when ready. Added the nsfw tag to this thread for the best, and to cover future pictures. So, I guess, out of the forth wall we go? 🙃 Dee: "What ho. Possible new body happenings, look." Since my last post I finally got around to ordering my girl’s clothing and wig I’m yet to buy eyes but leaning for towards a yellow or purple. With that being said I bought a completely blank head with the intention of customizing it myself! I have absolutely zero experience with any doll face ups though, so probably not a smart decision on my end! What would the best materials be? I know I’ve heard watercolor pencils, and chalk pastels for sure, but what brands? What kind of sealant would I need + anything else? If not to much trouble either around how much am I looking at having to spend on supplies? I do other types of crafts and art so I know things can get pretty expensive! Ah also what would be best to practice on beforehand? Are there any type of cheaper dolls or material similar to the dollfies I could practice on? If things end up not working out I’m open to commissioning someone! So if you do face ups yourself or know of anyone else I’d love to know so I could check that out as-well! Off topic here but what website does everyone post pictures to to put on here? I’d like to share my doll later on! That’s all for now! Thank you!(⌒▽⌒)

Heya! So, I'm looking for advice for 2 things A. Because these are fully articulated is it worth buying the standard vinyl/non posable hands for my boy MDD? B. These are for semi-white skin, severely yellowed. My MDD boy these will be on is Flesh toned! This photo is from the seller as they are currently on there way, and I don't have dolls atm to try them on! Left - Semi-white hand , Mid - The articulated hand I'm referencing , Right - Flesh toned hand If anyone has any advice on color matching the articulated hand to be fully flesh toned, I'd super appreciate it! I'll be de-wiring it and reconstructing it once I get my MDD's to color match it too! (I will be using acrylic paints and MSC as a sealant!) Also sorry the photo is pretty poor :,) I wasn't the one who took it!

Hihi!! I've asked this question before but I was curious if any fellow doll parents possibly could either try this out for me or already have photos of them doing so! I LOVE the baggy look of clothes on MDD's, and I will be getting both a regular MDD & MDD Mochi-Ashi and I would so deeply appreciate anyone that could show me photos of their MDD's in 1/3 / SD/DD Clothing! I want to see how far the baggy can go before its too much, and a little weird. There are some CUTE SD/DD clothes out there that my babies would look gorgeous in once I get them home, and I'd love to know if 1/3 sizing I can look into for them! (More specifically with: Shirts, sweaters, jackets, underwear - specifically boxers and panties (NOT bras, my dolls will be aged to be literally below 7 and 5 years), and socks) Thank you for any replies or photos!! :3c

Hi! I was curious if anyone possibly had photos of their MDD Mochi-ashi with a DDH27 head! I would especially appreciate it if it was in Flesh skin, but if not that's totally okay!! I'm having trouble picking the head right head shape/size for my babies I plan to get soon, and wanted to find the best head for chubby cheeks, and VERY little chin showing!

My first MDD Boy is on it’s way home from the artist now and i love him!! 🥹👏 But i suck at naming.. I seriously named my MDD girl Apple because she is an apple, she has a worm growing out of her 🫠 Does anyone have any good name suggestions?

Can anyone let me know where I can find bodysuits for DD other than volks? They have been sold out of the one I want for months I guess I keep being too slow for the restocks. If anyone has one or knows any brand that makes them please let me know :)

Hello, I’m very new to Dollfie Dream dolls in the sense that I’ve just gotten my very first one! I’ve looked into buying one for a while now and wanted to make sure that it would be fairly Procter as I didn’t want her to vinyl to get stained so I opted on buying her a body suit and a few other things. The issue is that I’m not sure how to zip the neck up or where to put the rest of it. The suit extends past her neck I thought maybe it was meant to go somewhat into the head but I’m scared it might dance her! Could it be the type of body I bought? For reference I have a Mochi-ashi body type, I bought the suit that said it was for Mdd (it says ver.2on it if taht changes anything) as I assumed that would be the one to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated !! -
I always wondered why we never got Final Fantasy VII Dollfies. We got Y'shtola from FFXIV but not Tifa or Aerith? 🤷♀️ Anyway, that isn't really a problem, a custom will do just the trick! As I don't have Yor wearing her outfit - I knew she would be a great Tifa! I got the costume from Dollremi. I initially wanted the remake version and the blue dress, but Dollgerie still hasn't restocked those.

What are the shade names of the colors you use for your doll faceups? In acrylic paint and watercolor pencils. I’ve found some individual pencils sold by faber castell, but I’m not sure what colors are the most used.

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere before, but how would I go about buying a DDS boy body? As far as I know, you can get them through dream choice with a head, but I don't really understand the process very well. Can you get it without a faceup, or is the faceup mandatory as part of the DC process? I'm not familiar with how to use a proxy. I want to plan ahead for a future custom, but I'm not sure how much I'd need to save for this. Do proxies charge you in JPY? Would the shipping costs be similar to buying a DD from say, Mandarake? (previously for me it was around $100, but I don't know if that's normal). Mostly I am just worried that I'll go into it thinking the process is simple only to be overwhelmed by a lot of steps, or underestimate the total cost. I wonder if it would be simpler to buy the body and head secondhand, or if that's more difficult?

I saw these soft-vinyl DDS parts on Booth and they seemed really interesting! They are designed to allow for more flexibility/poseability. There's a preview video on Youtube demonstrating it. Would anyone know if these would they happen to be recasts (aka not ethical) or do they just happen to be original (aka ethical) 3rd party custom parts (in similar vein to silicone busts or jointed hands)?

Hello everyone! I just traded a head for a blank Uzuki Shimamura head, and the wonderful person I am trading with offered to give her a face-up. Problem is I am having trouble deciding what character I want to go with for her. I was wondering what you all would reccomend for her sculpt. Some ideas I had were a Miku based doll, a modernized Ren from DearS, Hakufu from Ikki Tosen (courtesy of @Tierparkzone), a magical girl of some kind, a fate character in the design of wada arco's art (I've been on a huge fate kick), or someone with a teal color scheme. I really would just love to see some options and what you guys would do with this lovely sculpt, to try and develop a plan with my trade partner. Any ideas are welcomed and appreciated. I just would love some cute design recommendations, character recommendations, or ideas just to get my brain flowing. My Yor Forger arrived from Japan! I was not able to participate in the clickwar, but I got lucky that one proxy was able to get Yor for me. Apparently, it was the last stock in Yokohama Dolpa. Talk about lucky! Her ears are pre-pierced so that was really convenient. What I'm not too happy about is that this entire outfit set will surely stain. Overall, I think Yor is such a pretty sculpt!

Would watercolor pencils be ok to do a Dollfie Dream face with? Would they damage the vinyl? Would they not react well to sealant? I don't have great fine motor skills, and I don't feel comfortable using liquid paint to give my doll a faceup. Are watercolor pencils, or heck, even regular colored pencils a viable option?

So like my dollfie dream fell off my self(old DDll body I got in 2013)as I was gonna put her back I noticed her legs seemed kind of weird so I turned her around and her legs where like hanging off of the thigh piece. I tried to take her whole leg piece off but it won't budge not even when I heat it up. I've recently become somewhat interested in unitorsos! However I couldn't really find the info I was looking for when I was searching it up so I wrote down a few questions. I'm mostly curious about the visual aspects and differences of the unitorsos in comparison to each other and the two piece torso (aside from the obvious difference with the seams). Is there a difference between the DD and DDS unitorsos? Are there differences between bust molds ? For example Volk's photo of the DD L bust unitorso looks more natural than the DD L bust piece imo. I cant tell if this is just because of the angle. Thanks in advance! Any comments & photo references are much appreciated!
